Snowing hard in the far western UP, every now and then when the winds blows hard i cant even see the neighbors house like 150 yards away, it's light yelow so that adds to it. Snow is climbing up the snow stick again.

we are leaning two harbors only 4hr less time in the truck.
still liquid till we hit the 2 turn off in duluth head east or north

I'd head straight to two harbors on 61, then head inland on Hwy 2 once you get to Two harbors. There is a large park and ride on the right hand side about a few miles north. Have fun, but be aware that gates are closed towards Duluth (per my buddy who lives there).

Well I'll tell ya what, if you just want to putt in "some snow" save your self the time in the truck. If you want to ride in deep snow, put in the time & head UP.-Mezz

The heaviest snow in the past 24 hours fell in NE MN. Western UP starting to get it good now, but was skunked by most of it last night.

I think you will be happy with what you find in the higher terrain west of the lake in MN Ezra.

Yep, we missed out on last nights event, Thank goodness, but, it is UGLY out here right now. I wouldn't drive UP in this crapola right now, too dangerous. Visibility is pretty thin & the roads are not in the greatest shape. If you were to think about a trip UP, tomorrow would be a wiser choice.-Mezz

It is good way better a few Mi off the lake
none of the logging roads have bin hit for a long time 1/2 the trails had not been hit a fresh 10 to 15 .
if in the metro get your gear and drive this morning less than 4

spent over 5hr running power line today never saw a track .sank a few times up to waist.
great great ride and on Apr 20 un frigging real.
really don't think I will see a spring like this again in my life
