Well it has come to my attention that Mr. JD himself may be in need of some get well wishes. I'm not sure of the details but a buddy of mine let me know he is in need of some well wishes and some good ole prayers too. Not sure how serious but keep him in your thoughts.

Let's all respect this time and I'm sure there will be an update soon.

Thanks all.

Extremely flat light and falling snow + a 20 foot deep by 50 foot wide little ravine= Broken Back.

My L1 vertebra was compression fractured and is currently only 1/2 as thick as it was before the fun.

The good news is that it is a very stable fracture, so no risk of any damage to the spinal cord going forward and should make a full recovery. Flying home as scheduled tomorrow.

Like to hear the details on your day when your up to it....ride out? ouch....

I just got off the phone with Keith, yes, John rode the sled out. OWIE!! You're one tough old bird John!

Praying for a good recovery and safe, comfortable flight home.

Being a glass half full person, good thing this happened at the end of the trip, toward the end of the season :) Now you'll have plenty of time before going back next year!
