Well folks, this looks like a doozy. It's bad enough that drivers need to adjust to winter driving but this one is going to cause problems. I am not a fan of starting out the snow season with the projected amounts of accumulation, but, what can you do? The winter storm watch has been upgraded to a warning & new snow totals are looking to be in excess of 20"! The GFS & Euro models differ a bit, but each show significant snow accumulation. It's going to be an early & long day tomorrow, shovels, scoop & plow are ready but I'm not. Be safe out there.

And it looks like another storm will hit northern IA, southern half of WI etc. this weekend. It would be excellent to get the snow spread out and take pressure off some areas!! We can't open until the 15th due to extended deer hunt and muzzle loader season. :(

14" so far in Hurley from what I can tell. About 9" here in Duluth; looks like it's done snowing here, just blowing around.
