Well, it's been a while since we've heard that shout out. I think it is appropriate as it looks like we could be in for some extended LES beginning on Thursday afternoon & may last through at least the first half of next week. Some areas in the UP could see some significant accumulations over the next week, we'll have to see how the winds pan out. So, without further ado, Heere Bleezard Bleezard!

At 2:39 pm, the NWS has issued a Winter Storm Watch for Keweenaw, Ontonagon, Northern Houghton, Southern Houghton, Baraga & Gogebic counties. Heavy LES is possible with new snow accumulations of 6 to 14" possible with the highest accumulations in the high terrain areas. The watch is in effect from Thursday evening through Saturday morning. LES looks to continue through the weekend.

I am deliberately not putting the cab and snowblower on my tractor. Sled is still torn apart for bearings and hyfax replacement. So, expecting to get dumped on!! Your all welcome!

6+" on ground in Presque Isle Wisconsin. Enough for me to ride to The Retreat Bar for lunch but I don't want to get shot at by angry deer hunters.

They have double that northeast of Ironwood from Bessemer to the Porkies.

Munising to Seney area, and to the north of M28 also sitting around 15-18”.

NWS just shared this for additional snowfall till Sunday. GFS and Euro also showing a good amount later next week in most snow belt areas.

Just booked a room next Saturday night in Munising!
