Helmet Goggle combo.

I currently have a HJC spx helmet and a couple pairs of scott 89 xi goggles with quick straps on them. The fit is ok but not as tight to the face as should be. Was thinking of buying a new helmet,anyone have thoughts on Fxr blade super lite ? Or 509 ? Just buying a helmet want to keep my current goggles.

Love my Blade Superlight Scott goggle combo! I run the Snocross Hustle with 1/4 mask and could not be happier! I have a set of 89's that fit great too!

I like my AFX FX-17 Helmet which is very similar to a 509 helmet but around half the price. Although the graphics aren't as cool as the 509, they are still OK for a "middle aged" guy like me. The AFX helmet works great with 509 Sinister googles for me also.

just bring some keyboard cleaner to the helmet shop. get set up and have sales person turn can upside down and spray u in the face no chemical burn good to go

I have two pair Wayne, just be careful when cleaning the inside of them is all. When one set fog up, change them out with the other. I use the snap on system also, usually the yellow lens for me, but I have orange and blue also.

you have two complete pair goggles and presciption? or two goggles and one prescription?
Do you use the nose piece?

Two complete pair of prescription goggles. I do not use the nose piece, never tried it though.

From the web site it appears the main lense is clear and that the prescrition fastens to that with screws. and the colored lenses are ordered extra and snap on to the clear main lense? Is that correct? do you have the turbo fan option?

I will call the guy tomorrow. I wear bifocals with very mild prescrition (trainers, lol). He can answer my questions. tired of looking at blurry trees and cliffs!!!! Contacts are totally out.

Looks like you can get these in byfocals. They got my attention because they will fit in my Scott 89 Xi turbo goggles that fit my helmet perfectly. Guess it is less risk if it will work. Never had Smith goggles to try on my helmet.
Either way, seeing off trail is way better then not!

Skylar, did you look into these glasses too? Darn prescription has expired so looks like I will be a spending some coin to make this happen. Exam, new regular glasses then either or of the two mentioned above goggle glasses.
