Wow fusion.

How about welcome to the land of cry baby, always want things my way.

This is not a public site, it is privately owned and funded. If you do not like the way it is run, don't let the door hit you on the backside on the way out.

I am good friends with Skylar and will vouch for his character. I don't ever remember meeting you, but comments like that sure do not make the prospect that enticing.

All this bashing and attitude over a forecast? Are we serious?

Come on, even John adjusted his location for the heavier snows by about 100 miles from yesterday to today.

We should all practice a little more patience, and let the ROCK tell the story. When its white, its snowed, and we can all go riding. Sheesh.

Holy cow!

I have also read a lot about Skylar and even emailed him with questions several times. Which he always took the time to give me a reply even though he has a busy schedule. Unlike you, I would love to meet him some day and even ride with him.

Ya sure can tell it's early season and people are itchin to ride, same as every year at this time, been watching on here for 10 years. John, right or wrong I still trust your forecast more than any other.

Fusion, no offense, but is your screen name short for Confusion? It has to be, you must be confusing Skylar with someone else. I can't help but take that statement as rude, crude & for all intence purposes, socially unacceptable. In fact, I would call it a personal attack of which is a deal breaker here, in fact, should be a deal breaker on any site. Nonetheless, if you don't have anything nice to say, then say nothing at all. Refer to the Rules of this site & all will be well. Now, let's see if you can "Man up".... Thanks John, Skyler, and others involved with maintaining this website. John's forecasts and Tom Skilling (Chicago) are the only two that I pay any attention to for reliability. Even the mighty Jim Cantore on TWC said last night that this storm will track way south because he's "never seen a storm track that way before". Well you know the saying, "never say never". In my opinion, John's forecasts are some of the most accurate. Thanks again.

Aw c'mon, John's a big boy, he can take care of himself!
(I din't know we voted on moderatin' either!)

I thought that thread already had some serious 'edumacational' value, with more to come as the weather evolved.

Oh well, no big loss.
And no 'casting asparagus' at Skylar, either, he's definitely one of the good guys!

i have a problem with johns forcast. he is not scheduling enough snow for my area.i would like to measure in feet not inches.

Not sure who it was, but I think they hit the nail on the head when they said that this is not a public forum and is privately ran giving permission to use it. I even sometimes have to remind myself about that.

As far as forcasts go, I think people will believe what they want. If it sounds good for their area, they're happy. If it's not good for their area, they will call out the forcaster.

John and all the mods...Thank you for your time spent keeping this a family site. I am sure none of you envisioned the magnitude that this site has grown to when you signed up for the job.

If someone does get banned from this site, how does it work? Can that person just get another screen name or is it possible to block their IP address?

OK I'm done...

actually it was voted on!! its too bad that people let jealousy and envy rule their world! why cant people just be happy for someone else? if they're miserable then they get off on making people around them miserable. I personally do not have time for these people in my life!!
