Hey, what happened to the forecast questioning post?

I understand the board is privatly owned and funded. To delete a thread like that was kind of weenie in my opinion. I actually thought it was kind of fun and playful seeing a guy not get his preferred forecast. With that said I hope people stay in a positive spirit on this board and enjoy the great service that John provides all of us really sick in the head for snow snowmobilers! I love my snow illness!
If there is voting on this site then I missed the vote! We should have a vote on the stickers on the trail signs thread. I vote it should be gone. In my opinion the pictures are giving the clubs a black eye!
Look at it this way... The sticker thread never happened, someone puts a "Think Snow" sticker on a trail sign in WI., and someone takes a picture of it and posts it on this site complaining about the same thing the sticker thread is about. What would happen, it would be gone. Certainly people would be figuring that John himself or a Moderator had to put it there. But I doubt the club in WI would worry about it, or figure it to be malicious, or expect it to become an epidemic!

Look at it this way... There is a difference with the sticker if any of us would of saw it on a sign someone would of took it off. If you want a public site start your own or go to hardcore sledder they seem to be looking for people. People come on this site because they do not have to deal with much BS.
At the end of the original thread, there were a few remarks directed toward the thread starter that I felt were borderline, a couple of people had suggested it be deleted, so that is what happened.
As far as the sticker thread, it is not an epidemic, but it is a problem, and being that there are over 12,000 members on this site, it was a good way to get the word out. It is not a slam against the clubs, which has already been stated. The thread will remain until John tells me to pull it.
As far as bending rules depending on who you are, well, we try our best to keep it fair for everyone, it is your right to disagree I guess.
In regards to Fusions statement about me, we all have our opinions. I guess if I were really the type of person he is making me out to be, I could just go ban him for life. But that's not how I roll. I've never met him, that I can remember, so I will not pass judgement on him, or his character.
Soon the snow will be deep, we all will be riding, and we will all have a big grin on our face. I know I will. Kinda like this one.>

Wow, this darn storm is a real troublemaker. Normally I'd be super excited to see it slipping north, but I'm suppose to fly out of Rhinelander tomorrow
