The fuji twin will be around 70-73, the polaris twin with exhaust valves is about 105, without exhaust valves about 90.

Fuji 488 CC Fan is around 55
Fuji 488 CC Liquid is around 72 *** This is yours
Liberty 500 CC Liquid NON-VES is around 92
Liberty 500 CC Liquid VES is around 105

Of course some have been dynoed higher and lower, but these #'s are as close as you can get.

Show proof. Vastly exaggerated.

We need useful info here. Give us at the track HP , HP put to the snow. Not bench dyno hp with no load , that info is useless. Hp is totally misleading and that's why it is not in the magazine reviews. Just sayin'

I am with Indy on this one. In 2000 I had a 45th XC 500 . Still had the first tank of premix in it. On the flowage in Mercer, I ran down a couple guys on XC 700s, they swore I had a BIG BORE kit in it. LOTTA FUN, having a giant killer. For comparision sake , I had just gotten off of a 96 Ultra with a 800 kit in it. VERY LONG LEGS for the day. The 500 would not come out of the hole as hard ( not as much torque ) but that LITTLE 500 sure had some snot for top end.

Lol. Love this time of year. I had a 340 fanner that beat most 900 t-cats, how you ask? Because it would start.

This 800 kit, tell me about it. The Ultra came with a 780 triple in it. My kids rode a 2000 45th aniversary 500 with the laim Gen 2 chassis and the fancy pants air shock. Liked the colors. Sold it years ago. That sled was pre powerless valves. Laim duck.
the 2001 800 XCSP no valves edge was the cats a**.

You got to give the japs credit, they build very good motors. And are good on gas.

Anyone have a good answer on why Polaris went away from Fuji? Seems like they built their reputation and market share with the Jap engines, and then decided they'd rather build them themselves. I know there are some very good Liberty motors, but they've have a few lemons also. I assume the answer involved reducing costs and bringing control of develop and production in-house.

I know Poo took a lot of slack with the made in America stickers on sleds with fuji motor in it. I think part of the liberty motor idea and the name "liberty" attached to the new motors was intended to stop the chatter on their marketing fiasco.
