on this same topic, I bought a new sled end of last season, and have not rode it yet but I am wondering what top end is. It is a 2007 Ski Doo renegade X 600 SDI I am guessing 100-105 anyone have an idea?

muss, 90 tops. track may be doing 100 but your not. michaeladams, beat it like a red headed step child! Ride it like you stole it! Pin it till you see God. unless you are in one of those states with a speed limit. Then get Gods permission first. It's a toy! Enjoy! Fill with Premium gas and Amsoil and go!

muss its a 600 good trail spinner engine but but not going over 90 in a straight line if even that. If you want true 100-105 you got to go with 150 HP 2s or 4s. That is why I favor 150hp & not 118hp 600 trail spinners. I hope I did not disappoint you but no 600 coming close to 100 mph. Is that what dealer told you?

Better knock the dust off your driving skills before you get too crazy.

Whitedust- I had an 04 AC Sabercat 600. It was completely stock. I had it on a lake going 106 on the speedo before I left off. Is the Speedo off...I thought the AC speedo's were spot on especially in that era of sled. My buddies F7 said the same thing when he was running with me?

Buy yourself a 2in. stainless hoseclamp, clamp it around your throttle and handlebars, then pull the rip chord, and hold on.

I'm not responsible if something happens to you or your sled if you decide to take my worthless advice. Thankyou.

I dont know about the laws in Wi. But in Mi. (most people dont know this) there is a fifty-five mph speed limit on the frozen surface of all inland lakes and within a 1/2 mile of the shore on any great lake. Its in the handbook, every kid who goes through safety training knows this. Most adults don't care.

Other than a few local restrictions, I never read of a MI speed limit for snowmobiles on frozen lakes or land. Boating 55 speed limits as you say inland and Grt Lakes I have.

MI Sno-Mo Handbook

How Fast ? Until your eyes and other body parts jiggle. You'll know when.
