The real question isn't how fast or how far. it is what are you ridin??? Yamaha as fast and far as you want...Doo pretty much the same (just lay off the gas once in a while)...Poo and Cat no farther then you feel like walking......
dab I will line my kitty up against your tank any day I don't care what Hartman bolted on. just gotta look at the podium at any race venue.and no the strong man snowmobile lifting competition dose not count.just poking fun except the line em up part any day
So my bone stock Yam 150 Attack says 117 on the speedo on lake runs. So does that mean I'm doing a true 117mph? Not in my or your dreams probably around 100 but who knows? My 2003 800 Doo could do 104 downwind after much tweaking most guys were mired in mid 90s on speedo exact same engine. Again was I going that fast? .... I really doubt it. The one observation I did notice are trees & shoreline going by a lot quicker on Attack & lake runs over much quicker. I don't belive my speedo on any of my sleds. The track could be spinning at high speeds but the sled is really moving at X=? speed. 600s faster than 500s & 700 & 800s faster than 600s & 500s. That is the physics of speed or we would all be riding 340 liquids. Size does matter on top end.
Doo Sled, profile pic updated, but in large version, not sure how to shrink? notice the new low race profile shield and new decal, You want the black one back? I am a perfectionist!
I did not care for the way the black one looked with the yellow/orange wind deflectors, so I ordered a yellow/orange shield that matches and the larger decal. I will bring the other shield with on our first trip. I thought you were going to use my other one on the kid's sled. Anyway you can keep both if you want them, or sell them
on E-bay or John Dee! I am sure everyone is really enjoying this conversation!
Indy with 10 inch carbides & 500 with no studs you are just going to plow the corn fields for the farmer if you can get the sled going at all. Maybe you can run along side your sled & then hop on to get it moving. You should be working on a corn seeder for the back of your sled & get paid for plowing & seeding to cover the cost of blown belts & lousey gas milage.
