How fast

90s

I found the speedmeter to be fairly accurate on my 09SB. I compared it to my gps at 60, was within a couple mph at that speed

In most of the speedometers I have done GPS and radar runs with, reguardless of OEM, the faster they go the more innacurate they are. The digital or electronic p/u type are a little better, but the older cable operated ones with a centrifigal weight and counterspring get much worse at higher speeds. They basically get expotentially more inaccurate the faster you go.

To get a accurate speed, take 2 GPS and compare them to your speedo at different speeds, you should be able to get an idea of how much it changes at higher speeds.(of course, be careful)

I had a 2004 Sabecat 600 EFI that stock with studs and my 230Lb butt on it did 104 on the plowed lake. That was on the gps and a calibrated radar gun.

I currently have a 2005 500SS MXZ that will also hit the 102-103 mark under the same conditions.

Trail riding is another story. Most 600 will hit 90+ but not 100..

I had an 08 renegade 600HO SDI that toped at 95mph. My sister had an 08 MXZ 600HO SDI that would top at 105. Renegade is geared different and she is 50lbs lighter. That fast it all feels the same.
