In most of the speedometers I have done GPS and radar runs with, reguardless of OEM, the faster they go the more innacurate they are. The digital or electronic p/u type are a little better, but the older cable operated ones with a centrifigal weight and counterspring get much worse at higher speeds. They basically get expotentially more inaccurate the faster you go.
To get a accurate speed, take 2 GPS and compare them to your speedo at different speeds, you should be able to get an idea of how much it changes at higher speeds.(of course, be careful)
