I think it’s hilarious that you posted this. I almost posted the exact same question a couple of weeks ago. Inventory management at my house has made a similar suggestion but I’m disputing the claim. For the record, there are currently five sleds in the sled shed: three vintage and two semi-late models that aren’t all that new. There were six until one was sold last spring but there is a replacement on order (finally). Granted, I’m about the only one that rides much anymore but I not sure that should be figured in. My position is that as long as they fit in the shed I’m not overstocked. That's the way I look at it too. I have 7 sleds It's not like I'm in love with a certain brand I have all the big 4 in my garage
They are kind of like children, when you have TOO many to take care of, THEN you have TOO many.
Everyone must ride Ski-Doo.
Hey now....Although some of us might be affected by the old days when you needed three to have one running well enough to use.
I don't think there is a magic number to your question. It is like her telling you you have to many tools, or you telling her she has to many shoes. If you don't think you have to many then you don't have to many. If they start to get in the way or get to be a hassle to work around then you may have to many. So if the shed/shop/garage isn't full, keep on buying.
I aways liked the 72 skidoo I think it the flip up head light that does it for me.Plus It's the first snowmobile I've ever drove and started the addicting madness of snowmobiling for me.I won't tell my wife that she'd probably let me get it then she'd burn it to the ground.LOL I already got her to move to the U.P.(Which she loves living up here by the way).Amen to this! I have space for one more, maybe two if I get rid of some frivolous things like a lawn mower, snow blower, pressure washer, etc.
P.S. reiley, I like the way you think - a 72 Olympic, one of the sleds that opened up the sport to the average guy. Kind of a "lunch pail" do everything sled.
