Hope that was a typo, we are leaving Sunday at 7am from RC and I get picked up about 9am, that puts us down to you about noonish. Just made a dozen calls to confirm that I was correct. You can drive up and help me bottom paint the boat on Saturday!!!!

Not good!!!! current temp at Togwotee 52 degrees. above freezing during the day until around saturday. Never fails! thought the weather channel was pulling my leg so I called Tog. lodge. Just got done with clutching to read this. Suppose to cool down for next week with snow. I have lucked out many times before. fingers crossed.

I live out here (well, not in Togwotee, but in Victor, ID). We have had a couple crazy warm days, but supposed to cool off. This is the site I rely on for good snow forecasts. Jim Woodmencey in Jackson. He's no John Dee, but usually gives a pretty good idea of what kind of snow is coming. As you can see he is predicting a decent shot of snow on Sunday. Good luck! And ride safely.

Talked to James at Lava yesterday and he said we may have to trailer a mile up to Brooks lake cause it was getting thin but he also said there is suppose to be snow coming ......

Just got home this morning about 6 am, drove straight through from the Grand Mesa in Colorado.
When do you leave for Lava?
Rode Togwotee last Friday,Saturday and Sunday, Monday headed to Colorado. Had good riding but temps got over 40 down on the Mesa so we headed home a day early.
Have a good trip!

Just got off the phone with the "Angry American" they said it will be fine. I have been by there with bare ground at Lava Mtn. Lodge and neck deep farther up. I have a plan. What are you guys bringing out for sleds. A 144x2 600 will work. Had my son on a 136x1.5 Renegade and he did okay if he poached His lines.
