Indy - "boats and jet skis are not for me." WHAT? what kind of nonesense is THAT? My bro in law has a jet boat that used to be ours that's right up your alley!! Boats have motors you can play with too! :p

Yes, but I don't exactly know what words to use to explain it. on snowmobiles, atvs, bikes, etc. You hit the throttle and it goes, on a boat, you have to get your momentum going AND they cost too much AND they are terrible on gas. I want a moped :) One of my buddys just got done with his, tuned pipe, big bore kit, brand new crank, the thing outdoes the speedo. Can do 50+ He paid $1200 for it, rode it all last summer, blew it up this winter (go figure right? riding something set up for summer in the winter?) and has $1600 stuck into it. He just got new clutches yesterday.

Well since our government seems to operate not on what makes sense, but rather who's pockets get lined the most, if money were no object, I would line as many politician's pockets as possible, to keep our public lands open to recreation for future generations to enjoy. No more unjust wilderness designation! Then I would buy a mountain cabin and start a guide service, with all proceeds going to charitable organizations since I don't have to "make a living" anymore, and spend the rest of my days doing what I love!

I'd take care of some family, friends and a couple charities, make a small land purchase in the UP (about 5000 acres) have a small log home built about 6000sqft. and put a fence around the whole thing, then do the same in WY and AK (smaller log homes say 4000 sqft) stock them with toy's and spend my time traveling between them, with an occasional trip to Hawaii.

Toys? All Terrain Vehicles? Price no object?

Do you have a million and a half or more to throw into an ATV? Here ya go, Super Terrain Vehicles from Shadow Hawk, What a concept!

(Their "stealth" web site is a bit of a pain, with grey text on a black background, but if all else fails you can use your mouse to select the text, which will make it more readable.)

Quoted
(emphasis is mine) from The Robb Report Collection.com, 03/01/2010 — Work, Play, Protect [scroll down to find Shadow Hawk]:
Shadow Hawk
The concept behind the Shadow Hawk line of models seemingly is to create vehicles that are part supercar, part tank. Right now, the Shadow Hawks are still just a concept, but the manufacturer plans to build the vehicles to order at prices ranging from $776,000 to nearly $1.5 million.

The entry-level model is the two-door Steel Hawk (the four-door is $996,000), which is made of chromoly steel and powered by a 360 hp V-8 turbocharged engine. The top-of-the-line Desert Hawk ($1.48 million for the four-door) is an off-road machine that can flip itself back onto its tires should it tip over onto its side or roof. The company also plans to build the 208 mph, titanium monocoque Street Hawk ($1 million for the two-door and $1.25 million for the four-door) and the Terra Hawk ($1 million and $1.35 million), a 1,000 hp camper; the vehicle’s rear deck rises to create a two-person cabin with a TV, a refrigerator, a microwave oven, and two reclining beds.

I would buy up all the land that is for sale from Mass City to the tip of the Keweenaw. Open to everyone, except, if you were caught in there with out something motorized, you would be tossed in jail.

Here's your sign......
Just once in my life I would like to see one of these, instead of a no trespassing sign!

I would pay off all my friends and familys debts, plan and pay for my funeral ( huge party with live bands and tons of food, oh yea get the old ladies at church to make those lemon bars) and buy nothing. I would rent everything and travel the world going from one spot to the next. Wanna go to sturgis, rent a harley and a place to stay for a month and see it and on to the next venture. Get a visa card and see ya later. Kids would never even have to go to school, they already have everything and would never even have an address to get mail.
