Home, Sweet, Home!

Nora and I arrived back in town just a bit ago and she is off to get Gracie and the puppies.

The recovery is still going very well. I just need to start getting more than 3 hours of sleep a night!

I can't wait to see Gracie and the pups and have us back as a whole family again.

I am sure I will write more Sunday, but wanted to get the latest out there and also than everyone again for all of their well wishes and prayers.

-John

GREAT NEWS JOHN!!! Glad to hear you are home and feeling well. Take care and enjoy your reunion with Gracie and the Pups!

Glad to hear your back home, safe and sound. You must have left REALLY early this morning...or didn't make the whole drive in one shot. Either way, I bet your own bed will feel great tonight.

Take care,
Dave

Hi Everyone.

A quick update. I continue to heal up. The recovery this time is 100 times better than the last one. Yesterday they took the last remaining drain tubes out and it looks like I should be going home tomorrow or Tuesday. I sure do appreciate all the thoughts and prayers.

Oh, and with regards to the "chronic pain" thing... It was the drugs talking !

-John

John,

Great news that you are home and doing better after the procedure.

I want to warn you about the "chronic pain" that will likely be coming your way, probably when you lease expect it. Wives never forget things like that.

Best wishes to you and your family.

Glad to hear that everything is going along ok. Hope you have a quick recovery and that you don't have to go through anything like this again any time soon.

Wish I would have known you were staying in Wausau. We would have put you up here at our place for the night. If you came across on Hwy 29, you only missed us by a few miles.

Good luck on the recovery and God bless you!

it sure is good to hear things are going well, thank God and to all who made this happen for you. If you have anything pressing around the home front, give me a yell, I'll make time.

Geez...leave the country for a month...and look what happens!

John's wires get disconnected, just to get a free tax ride to Minnesota....the pups get to go on vacation with strangers, and Nora and the baby are wonder'n where home is.....

I'm not leave town any more...takes too long to get caught up on this fast movin crowd.

Oh, and if this is all just a big ploy to get Nora to feed the wood stove next winter so's you can go snowmoing more on your new sled....well all I can say is....well....good one!
