Indy, Santa will NOT bring you anything unless you get to bed! your lucky your an hour different then me, gives you more JD time tonight!

My theory, people can ask whatever they want- doesn't mean they're gonna sell it. I guarantee those sleds you posted indy will still be for sale a month from now, or they will have a dramatic price drop and be sold. I just bought a 2000 XC 700 cheap for a buddy and I couldn't believe when I called around how "firm" all these guys were on their prices. My comment to each of them was enjoy the sled for another year because no one is going to pay that, have a nice day. Most of them got offended but it is what it is. My 2 cents...

Of the 3 you show, 1 is at dealership, it should have went thru their shop & should be trail ready, a little high price yes. The other 2 have less than a 1000 miles on them, so yes the owner thinks they are worth a little more than I believe the are worth, but, they are his, he can set the price, doesn't mean they will sell for that. I just sold a sled for $1250, I started at $1600, I thought it was very nice for the age (low mile 1997) but got an offer & took it, just to get it out of my garage. I would bet if the owner really wants to sell they will negotiate. Good deals are out there, just have to look. Maybe not in mid WI tho, now that they got snow.

Indy, they are just like Chevy trucks! I miss my 01 800 XCSP, 02 800 xcsp, 03 700 RMK and 05 600 switchback. 06 was a Renegade (the dark year). They were good sleds. Easy to work on, parts are avail. New sleds are $12,000 so why not keep the ole" EDGE is the mentality, drives up prices. great ride also. Once you get past the voltage regulator and drive bearing issue your fine.

I bought my 2002 xcsp 500 this past spring for 2050. Based on what i have seen on craigslist the last 4-5 months, if i were to sell that thing right now, i would probably start it out at 2500 and go from there.
