I was looking at their gloves and saw the elite glove for $225 (I think) and couldn't see spending that much on a pair of gloves, but started another post asking if anyone had actually used them. Klim gear is expensive and to be honest I do have a jacket or two from them but not in the price category of the one you are talking about. WOW

Pretty pricey stuff.

I dunno, I bought my Klim jacket and bibs 7 years ago. I was sick of the garbage that I had been wearing, Arctiva, Castle etc, love my Klim stuff.

The good news is that Obama hasn't forced you to buy Klim yet Ezra, YET! BAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

X2. My Klim gear takes a beating for about 4 solild weeks of day today use, all day everyday. I have never gotten wet, cold or had a failure of their product ever. I am klim totally except boots and helmet. They don't have wide sizes d in boots. And my fly helmet/ goggle setup works fine. Spend the money and don't look back. Klim is for those who are passionate about their sport. If you are a trail rider look into the Klim Vector jacket. If your bar hopping I suspect the cheap stuff will get you thru the day. Guys like Skylar, John Dee, Firecatguy, myself and many others in here, we are out all day off into the nasty stuff. We don't need our gear shreading and leaking water or having to find a bar to "dry out". Klim is purpose made. You get what you pay for.

I've always had good luck using Cortech/Tourmaster motorcycle stuff. http://www.tourmaster.com/
I'd rather donate the extra $1000 to our local doggie rescue.;)

That's fantastic, if that works for you. Just make sure you write them that check. I support a local puppy rescue also. Thank you for supporting them.

Funny Ezra.

Although I have never met you, from the many posts you have made on this board, I would have never had you pegged for a fashonista. But, what ever floats your boat. If you want to pitch all your gear from them because you are worried others will think you are a DB for wearing it. Go for it.

Done. We have three rescue doggies. So we donate our time and send them what we can throughout the year, but especially around the holidays when people are too busy to think about them.
