So not only are you ignorant--you're a tightwad too!! Learning more and more about this clown everyday!!

95,000 on my 05 Accord.

Problems to date:

Left rear caliper froze @ 70k. Replaced with loaded caliper, pads and new rotor in 42 minutes in my garage.
Right headlight burnt out @ 85k. Replaced pair in 10 minutes - cause I had to pull the battery.

Hands down 500% better than any of the previous American cars I owned, including:

86 Grand Am, 93 Typhoon, 94 Continental, 98 Taurus, 01 Crown Vic, 04 Taurus.

I will buy another Honda sight-unseen if I ever manage to kill this one.

Learn the word Global & Toys. built here by Americans are Toy. cars with recalls. If Toy lays off guess who will be getting laid off "Americans". No us & them anymore so know that from get go & we are all better off. Too many cars companies so buyers decide what they want & buy whatever they like. GM not doing real well but Ford on top so buyers like Ford products not bailed out GM products. Who knows what will happen to GM and Crysler down the line no more money to give them.

FORD took government money well before the bailout to keep afloat..... do some research :)

Not sure who needs to do their homework AFAIK
Ford refinanced and restructured before the Goverment bailout started.
They did not get a bailout except on their own and from banks.
They bailed themselves out. which is better IMO

Didn't stop my last Ford from blwoing apart at 90k though

Secretary Steven Chu announced that the Department of Energy has closed on its loan offer of $5.9 billion to Ford Motor Company to transform factories across Illinois, Kentucky, Michigan, Missouri, and Ohio to produce more fuel efficient models.

That's money from the DOEnergy made 25 billion available to automakers to increase vehicle efficiency. Not money they needed to keep their doors open. Not the bailout.

All tax money is our money. This money was earmarked already for auto industry & was supposed to be used to weather the economic perfect storm to get auto industry sorted out which Ford did very well. Others farted around with same old same old & needed bailout. Hats off to Ford good job indeed!

This is a stupid thread for one, next my Ford Explore has had 3 recalls in the last 5 years, its a piece of ****. It is going to be replaced by a Nissan SUV. I have had Ford,Dodge,Nissan, and Mitsubishi cars witch were all bought brand new. Out of 10 new cars and suv's. The only ones that were any good was my Mitsubishi 3000 GT, 2009 Nissan Altima, That's 2 out 10 without recalls!
