This is the perfect media storm - blame the current administration (Who they do not like) and cause fear - they are feeding on it. Feeding on US!!

Agree with the statements that have been made, settle down everyone, don't panic. Turn off the TV for a while.....

Oh and my wife flew from New York to Milwaukee on plane she said would hold 200 people. There were maybe 30 on it. She said it was great!

When this is all said and done it will be a graphic reminder of be where be the world is at. A snapshot if you will. The country s like the US and UK and Australia will have a death rate if about .5 percent. The third world countries in like China and Iran that still wipe their buttes with their left hands will have a Much higher death rate. Crude and rude but accurate. Wash your hands and wipe your Butte. Always good words to live by.

Spot on. However this type of virus, in the world we live in the US, could explode in a very short period of time. Like grub said, do what is right to care for yourself.

Just had a thought...if this had happened 100 years ago, the virus would be contained in China. Today we can fly from Peking to L.A. in a few hours. Boom, it's hear in less than a day. Another thought, 100 years ago Sears and Monkey Wards sent out catalogs with all their merchandise. Out of T.P.? Not a problem.

Actually, 100 years ago they were fighting the Influenza. Another Worldwide Pandemic. Makes you wonder doesn't it?

Just read that you can use Clorox Toilet Bowl Cleaner to avoid getting it. So I drank 2 cups. Nasty stuff, but I should be good to go!

Pull out of the stock market if you must, hibernate at home if you choose , or go on with life as usual and hope this virus diminishes with the warm weather in April and May. To me stock market and life will resume as normal in 6-8 weeks and it I get the virus so be it. I’ll recover and move on. I’m not an alarmist never will be. Everyone is different I get that so do what you want me my life is/will be unchanged.

Yo Grub,
Are you safe up in that corner of MN?
Was in TRF 2 days ago, was offered a job and now my Wife is like; "let's just stay put til the Stock market and the Virus calm down". She is likely correct but dang, timing is a beeatch.
Problem is, these jobs come every other blue moon.
Riding looks great up there (when there is snow).

If I may ask where are you going to work? TRF is an entirely different world than Green Bay. As far as riding it is usually good. You are going to have to used groomed ditches for a few miles to get to the good stuff but there is endless riding.

I know you are joking but there are stories of people drinking bleach to "protect themselves" from this. If you think drinking bleach is a good idea you should probably drink bleach.....

I knew of someone that based on their beliefs, was drinking Hydrogen Peroxide in hopes to cure the cancer in him. Needless to say they died of kidney failure! The current situation is definitely concerning. We too are leaving for spring break and are now wondering what we should do. I called the resort we are staying at in FL and we can re-book at no charge which is fine with me. I'm glad to see what Fuji said about Delta as this is who we're using both ways. I have two kids and that is my biggest concern. It's too bad there is so much uncertainty based on lack of information from the Feds. There have been 16K deaths since October from the Flu and supposedly 100 of the coronavirus. You have to applaud preventative measures but what was the basis?

I P.M.'ed you.
Did you get any snow since the warm-up this past Monday? Trails open?

The reason their is a run on toilet paper is because everyone is ****ting in their pants when they see someone cough.

I'm told that you have a better chance of being struck by lightning than catching the coronavirus and dying. The media would have us believe differently, it's now considered a Pandemic. Colleges are shutting down to eliminate people from spreading it though I suspect the beaches of Florida will be populated during Spring Break. There are plans to play the NIT and NCAA college games without fans, only family and staff allowed in. Me thinks there's too much money to be lost so I'll wait and see on that one. Another panic....we're running out of toilet paper? Really? And don't get me started on what this has done to the stock market and the 401K's. The media stokes the fires and the next day turns into the next panic.

Please note that I avoided going political in my venting. I'd be glad to hear your thoughts but keep it middle of the road, no need to go left or right. Thanks!
