Scottiking, thanks for posting your damages. I was thinking that I was the only one that hit trees and not get hurt. My damages are just an upper A arm, front bumper, and hood. It's good to heart that others with more experience then I also hit trees. I don't feel so bad now.

The best thing I have seen this year was a few weekends ago. One set of tracks going up military hill,(above the chain link fence), and one set sliding down and into the fence. Good news,there wasn't much damage to the fence. The better news,a lot of plastic. If you are reading this ow bright one, Way to go,dumb ars!!!

I was thinking the exact same thing. We have one thread blaming Ricky racers for everything and this one of people owning up to hitting those trees on the side of trails.

What is the definition of a Ricky racer??

You guys need to calm down, not one of these "bent parts" occurred on or near a trail.

When i was a trail rider, i never hit a tree, now that groomer north of Phoenix, well thats different, he was on the trail.

Added to the wall this weekend would be my handlebar snow loop and I see there is also a Polaris one as well and almost had a 2013 Summitt to hang up there as well!

OK....here's our list...not a great winter for our group:

My F-1000....blown motor (east of Kenton)...got her back, and put 240 miles on...running good now...keeping it another season....will be looking at four strokes next winter.

2003 Pantera...Blown motor/broken piston skirt (near Watersmeet)....fixed...traded in for a spring order 2015 Doo GSXE 1200

1999...Ski-doo Mxz 670 HO...scored left piston, and cylinder (near Land o Lakes)..fixed..looking at new 800 polaris indy SP

2011 Polaris Rush (near Monico WI)...electrical problem...traded on 2014 Rush 600

1998 Polaris 700...(Watersmeet)...not running right....bought a 2014 600 Indy SP, gave to wife..looking at an 800 SP for himself.

2009 Polaris 600 shift (near Greenland)....blown motor...fixed....traded for a 2014 Vector LTX.

Most of these break downs happened on our annual trip to the U.P. in February...as you can tell ...alot of these machines were old...none the less it's what they had to ride....the tow straps were out in full force this year...I hope next season will be different.
