I found a Pasty shop in Lake City, MI about 15 miles east of Cadillac, MI on M55 also found a Shopko in Lake City. Looks like a Yooper invasion. next we will get Krist (citgo) gas stations.
While in the UP last weekend I had to get my pastie fill. I see a sign,"Pasties rated #1" who could pass that up? well they were mostly all potato, very dry and far from #1. But hey, it is marketing and it worked. (I bought 2).
I get my pasties at the Serbian church in Gary Duluth. the old church lady's make a ton every yr for there fund raiser. my uncle lives behind it and orders me my yr supply for the deep freeze.
BTW if thinking of changing religions any time soon the Serbian orthodox churches have Bars in the basement. just saying
