360 miles from McHenry to Bergland. Alone it is a 5.5-6hr drive, with the wife and kids add up to an hour. 6 hours is no big deal to me, 7 starts getting a little long.

Indianapolis to Eagle River (where we go more often than not). If it's just me in car, it can be done in 8-9 hours. If it involves a trailer, not driving through cook county at the right time, moving sleds around, it can be 11-12 hours. If I leave work at 5, I can get up there in time to hit the trails mid-morning the next day. On the way home, usually ride all day and then drive home. I usually end up getting home in the middle of the night so I take the next day off and hang out with my 3 year old. If I can ride for 4 days, it's all worth it.

Sometimes drive up to the Paradise area instead or MN.

Last year's trip out to Togwotee was just a wee bit longer...

Depends on the day. Everyday after work it's about 2 minutes from the garage, to the fridge, to my recliner.

Otherwise it's about 3 hours behind the wheel. It's great going up and a drag driving back!

5.5 with one stop to fuel up and stretch a bit, used to be the mandatory smoke stop for the wife (no smoking in my truck) but now she quit so it really is a stretch stop and to top off the diesel so I do not run the tank down as I could almost drive there and back on one tank.
