Going to wait a bit to get mustang out after previous year april storm

On another note, the SS Camaro is out today; with all the rain in Green Bay the roads are nice.

Not real sure where I'm at on my rmk for miles this year, 600 maybe? Put 150 on a rental Viper couple of weeks ago. I've put roughly 10,000 on between my wife's car, my car getting up there, since November. My April ride will be 6 months of sledding for this season.

I'm guessing about 1100 here in MN and 250 in Utah. But miles aren't terribly important to me as the miles I did ride this year were some of the funnest miles I've rode. Snow on the North shore was great this year and we spent a lot of time in the boonies!

1950, best in 2 years due to building the retirement home in Phelps. I missed most of February due to a surgery in the family so not bad in my mind. Will try one more ride this weekend.
People say the sport is dying but not in my circles by any means. 15 years ago, it was my brother and I, maybe one more at best. Now it seems we fill a large house with the send of a text. Great people, most in their 50s and 60s out buying sleds and having a ball.

That is A LOT of miles for the type of riding you do up there!

Funny, my riding bud is up there yet today, running out of Finland, he's put on 800+ the last 4 days, and won't be coming home until Sunday! I think he told me he is over 5200 now for the season. He stepped off the trail on the Yukon yesterday and it was chest deep yet!

850... was a rough season. 850 is better than probably the last 5 seasons but I had planned on 2k this season. First trip up in December had to cut the trip short a day due to a blown motor on my sled. Ended up selling it and buying a new sled. 2nd trip up with the new sled on our way home someone rear ended my enclosed trailer and totaled the trailer, damaged all 3 sleds in the trailer and damaged my brother in laws truck. That pretty much ended my season in the middle of January. Took over a month to get everything insurance wise figured out and now I'm headed to Florida for 10 days. Back to work I guess and dreaming about next season now that I have a new sled and trailer!

I don't know that I have any desire to put on those kind of miles anymore. I do enjoy blasting down the trails when they are nice but if there's deep snow I'd rather put on 75 miles that day with a bunch of stucks. Not gonna find these on the groomed trails.

It was very deep up there last weekend yet. Only had to dig my son out twice! But it was very heavy snow so it was more work! Trails were the nicest I've seen them in a long time and there seemed to be a lot of sleds around town but I didn't see a lot on the trails. I went out by myself on Sunday and just shot north on the state trail and put on 80 miles in just about 2 hrs and saw maybe a dozen sleds. There's a spot right before the NSST gets to a forest road after the Tomahawk intersection where theres a tape measure attached to a post and it said there was still 40" of snow depth and on the trail it was probably 30" still. So the woods will be good for awhile but right in Finland its going to get rough. I unfortunately have plans for the next 2 weekends so I assume I'm done.

Currently sitting at 3800 from riding 3 full weeks in the YOOP. It would have been more, but ran into issues on 2 sleds due to getting burned by a local dealers' service dept. On a positive note the wife rolled past 14,500 miles on her 2015 ZR5000 that's still under warranty.. Hoping to add to the total if mother nature lets us...

Just under 6000

Wow, very impressive! How often do you get a new sled? Between lodging, gas, oil and sled depreciation, you must spend close to 10 grand a year. Jealous!!

Looks like a good amount of people got some good miles and/or smiles this year! Always fun to read about others end of year experiences in sledding. My ratio for driving the truck to miles on the sled wasn't that great....driving the truck almost 3000 miles for just under 2000 miles riding the sled. Obviously, miles in truck to sled isn't relevant to off trail riders but i was mostly on trail this year. Planning on changing my riding schedule next year and seeing some more points of interest like ice caves, lookout points, etc... and going to try to get 2500 on next year.

Not bad at all... spent 5000 miles in the truck to put on 350 on my mountain sled this year!

Just a tad under 2K for me. Riding in WI, MI and MN. 1200 miles up North, and 800 miles locally. Great to see a lot of families and old iron out locally.
I had an EGT sensor go bad in my '17 XCR that was covered under warranty, but no other issues.
Glad to see all the good riding this year!
