My plugs look lean

Are you still losing anti freeze? That will clean a plug.
Also here is a good chart'

http://www.dansmc.com/spark_plugs/spark_plugs_catalog.html

not losing antifreeze at all.

These are keihins and they're round slides. Mine look like #18 on that chart. The only reason i'm posting this is because the thing stock is jetted pretty rich, and i had to richen up the pto side even more than stock. Could the cold air (10-15 degrees), sea foam, and oil in the tank make it look lean? Should i just turn down the air screw a tad and let er rip? (i know its only useful for like idle to 1/4 throttle, but thats where my sled was most of the day)

I would get some GOOD 92 octane in the tank. The double dose of extra oil and sea foam makes me wonder.
Do you have a pea light to check the wash pattern and color on the top of the pistons?

You idle issue sounds like you may have a partially plugged pilot jets. Your idle should not hang that high for for very long or at all. Trying to read plugs with Seafoam in the fuel is a complete waste of time. That stuff washes off too much of any carbon deposits that may form on the new plugs. What does the wash look like on the pistons?

I've tried looking down at the pistons, i can't quite tell with a normal flashlight. From the side they look alright, very slight scuffing, 120+ psi in both. I cleaned my pilot jets, nothing on them. I do have higherish octane gas in there, i will not run sea foam for awhile and see what happens.

Mj that is a great link

Indy print this out and put it in a folder

this part is very clearkill the engine before releasing the throttle.
A couple of tips on mid-range jetting, start out conservative, it is easier and less expensive to change jets than a seized piston. Use the jet needle for changing fuel requirements first; it’s faster to change the "E" clip position than to change the needle jet. If you find yourself at full lean or rich and still needing more or less fuel that is the time to change needle jets. A rule of thumb here is one "E" clip position on the needle is equal to one needle jet size. So if your needle jet is a P-4 and the needle "E" clip position is #1 you could change the needle jet to a P-2 and move the needle clip to #2 and the fuel flow would be real close to the same as the P-4 and #1 clip position.

No air leaks. Plugs looked a lot better tonight. It does make this little clickity click noise at idle before its completly warmed up. Not sure if it's ice chunks in there or the clutch or what. It takes off fine. It's not really a knocking sound, more of a clickity click. and when you give it gas, it doesn't do it but once it idles it does it. I heard it on wednesday before riding, put on 30 miles. Once taken a few laps it doesn't do it, something in the clutch?

the other thing to try ,i do it after every ride try and pop the muffler bearing off then soak it in sea foam

i pm'ed you back, i didn't see anything noticable. compression is good, no air leaks (if the crank was bad, it was cause the seal to go bad correct?) It runs fine. Am i being too paranoid? Could it be something stupid like the clutch cover? it sometimes will do it, sometimes won't.

The clicking at idle might be the weights. Maybe the bushungs are alittle wore out.

hope not, i'd be able to wiggle them side to side right? this fall when i took the clutch apart to clean/put a new spring in, i didn't notice any play in anything really.

They should wiggle a little, but not really slide side to side. Go start someone else's sled and see if the sound is similar.

How old are you anyway? Your in high school yet right? I wish I had sites like this when I was in school. You shoulda seen some of the cobbled up junk I had when I was a teen. At least your learning how to do this stuff early enough.
