So I have the sled in the barn so to speak, but before I did that I put it on the scale! Here is what I think it had for fluids from eyeballing. I know real scientific!
2 gal fuel = 12 lbs
1.5 gal coolant = 12 lbs
1/2 gal oil = 4 lbs

(We've been posting our sleds up on http://www.facebook.com/teamkesslers - the 2010 M8 surprised a lot of people)

I heard once that you spend $100 per lb lost... Well here is my old Summit. I think I did pretty good spent about $80 per lb to lighten my ride

And in the Summit:
5 gal fuel = 30 lbs
1 gal oil = 8 lbs
2 gal coolant = 15 lbs

The lengths we (and you guys) go to for passing time before we can ride!!! haha. For some reason, your pics aren't showing above, but i did see on FB. My personal opinion is that a combination of fine tuning all of our skills, and dropping a few (body) pounds are just as good as shedding weight on the sleds. Just my .02 cents. Hope your crew is doing well, and look forward to seeing everyone up in the yoop at one point or another this season...

I'm just impressed with the photos, got great quality, the scale insert, and the TK logo on them as well. Looking good.

You forgot to take the foam off of the running boards! That will drop it to 452 EASY! LOL. Nice set up!

Doospunk brought up a good point of dropping pounds off of the body, but, it was a lot easier for me to buy a sled that was 75lbs lighter than my previous sled, then it is for me to drop 30lbs! LOL.

Wow, that Polaris is night and light. Even considering it had about 25 more lbs of fluid in it as your Doo it at the time of weighing, it is still 34 lbs lighter. Great info and pics. Thanks for posting.

2010 M8 non sno pro has an slp can maybe? no suitcase anyway. It is Timner's sled. Most of us had it pegged in the 550 range! really surprised us.

what yr M is that? and is he still running the suitcase or has it got a can on it?
