One more crappy season in the UP and something is gonna change for me. Either sell the sled and find a new hobby (already have the enduro bike) or ride strictly out west. I know I'm not the only one who feels this way in my group... at least about going west.

It's all part of sledding, who knows maybe the next 2-3 years could completly suck in the yoop, then the 2-3 after that, they get 300" per year. It CAN happen, and it's just a chance i'm willing to take.

Could, might, eventually, are all vocabulary words I don't like when it comes to sledding. You're a Polaris rider though so I'm sure they are used everyday. :D

Yes, I think you guys should stick to going out west. The less people tracking everything up in da yoop would be a good thing! :p

Cuzz, when did you first start sledding up dere? I admit, the last two years up there sucked. But, I think we were a little spoiled by the three previous years. LOL.

Actually, the previous 4 years. As you can see, last year SUUUUCKED!

I started going up there in 2006/7 and was strictly off-trail starting the season of 2007. I guess I was spoiled for a few seasons but out west has always been good riding for me except for 1 trip.

We've booked a first-ever trip to the Tetons next year so we're already looking ahead. It helps cure the post-season letdown.

As far as the U.P., yeah the last few years have been hit and miss but we're already booked in for the U.P. next year as well (sorry, but we will be making tracks). In spite of the flaky weather, we've had excellent trips the last two years - pure dumb luck, of course.

This is what keeps us coming back.....

Tog. will let you park your sled behind the lodge. not sure on details but seen it done.
I have a bud who keeps his toy haller in kremmling and lives 1 hr away so if needed he could drop off for major repairs but more likely if motor issues I would fix if I roll or in a slide just call the insurance man

the first sled I road in da up was my brand new twin pipe 94zr700 then in 96 I put a 1 3/4 paddel track on my ultra and have been pissing money away on deep snow mods from then to now

btw when actualy driving a sled in the hills the only thing the seat is good for is sitting down to eat lunch or sit back and watch your bud try somthing he is way under qualified to do. I can swap a blown dd in about 20min on a 30%grade with a 40mph head wind how long to to swap that 800 top end or the hole in the crank case

if your a good customer of carter he will take care of all your needs!!!!!!if you leave sled at tog they let you park it out back....if you need work on said sled Mike in the shop is the best around period he will get you back on the snow!!!!!Tog is first class 5 star and the guys in the Sled shop and rental shop are top notch......

I talked with Carter in great lenght this past season several times, I'm not a " good " customer but he seemed very open to helping store sleds for me should I need it. I will make it out there eventually, want to meet Carter & ride with him. I really must say he does a good job for Tog and anyone interested. He represents his company well ! We never did get all the ducks lined up to go out but I have several friends that want to go if we go along with my kids.

Indy, Are you saving some money up? You got the JDee ride in to do and a west trip with Wintertime and the clan at minimum. get your drivers license we always need alternate drivers, unless we go with Mom's and they do all the driving for us!

Indy... thought you were interested in the " RR " ? If so let me know, it is extremely well maintained, would be willing to part with it at a fair price. BEING as your " INDY500 " and a fellow sticker collector.... ( LOL ) Your on your own with the " pink spray paint " however !
