Matt Nagy needs to have a heart to heart talk with Trubisky find out what’s wrong with his QB. Mitch is so inaccurate with his passing game his abysmal performance drags down the entire team both O and D. Nagy is now running the risk of losing the team and ultimately his job if Trubisky continues to fail. Team officials have to BE asking themselves if Trubisky has the god given talent to be a good NFL QB. There’s not much Bears management can do other than try and develop Mitch or promote Daniel to #1 to try and win some games to win a playoff spot. Idk but at this point in the season Da Bears need to do something at QB or the season will be out of reach very soon. Tuff to watch these games see receivers running open and a pass sails away 10 yards wide , high and completely not catchable. Just terrible!!!!!

Nagy needs to have a heart to heart with himself also. Coming off a bye week, after a crushing loss to the Raiders and he coaches the game as though he has Aaron Rodgers at QB.....Nagy is lying to himself. Nagy is living in a dream world where he believes the Bears can throw themselves to a victory. Teams do not fear Mitch nor all of Nagy's trickery and formations. The packers defensive back who said they knew Mitch couldn't beat them wasn't making that up, teams know this. Nagy's dismal dedication to the run will end this season. Remember, this is a super bowl or bust year.....its looking like a bust, an epic bust. Bears are in crisis mode right now. As of now they are not competing for the NFC North lead, at best they are hoping for a wild card spot.

And the Pack are just getting stronger, very impressive! they control their own destiny. They still have KC with a backup QB, 49ers and three more division games but they have set themselves up very well.

I agree with both of the last 2 posts. It could be what they need is a really good QB coach? One who is good at the development stages of a QB in the NFL perhaps? But all of this chit this lays at Nagy's feet. That being the overall performance of the entire team!

thought Nagy was supposed to be that coach?

Too bad our resident QB whisperer Momoney wasn't here to straighten this all out for us.

NFL is on to Cohen or Nagy doesn’t know how to use Cohen. Exciting player reduced to a cloud of dust and no gain. Stuff like this never happened to Zayers or Payton neither had slumps like this and they played for terrible teams.

I am way much more disappointed in Nagy, than either Trubisky, or Cohen. Matt Nagy is the coach, now his defense sucks also. This program is in bad need of a major shake out! Bring in the GM, as he is the one who brought these players in here! He has to be the one to get Nagy's arse activated on the right path!

Wow, that's quite the leap to compare Cohen to either of those two.

There’s talk about trading for Cam Newton to save the Bears but has to happen by October 29th trading deadline. Bears won’t be able to compete with Trubisky for a playoff spot so imo move his butt if possible.

How the fortunes have fallen for the windy city fans. You guys have all your dough and future tied up in Pollack-ski. You aren't getting Newton, so just forget that one.

whitedust I'm not into bringing in Newton. Lots of questions there, and one player will not fix this team/mess imo. The Bears are flushed this season already. The whole team performance sucks, period. I say shake it all out, all of it, and get to the bottom of the whole gamut. The GM needs to oversee this, as he has brought some very good players.

Probably no Cam but Im betting Pace is seeing who will deal what QB? Trubisky is HORRIBLE and I don’t want to see another Cutler deal break the bank. Far as I know White is out of football so Pace tends to trade or release his draft mistakes.

It’s not too late yet but 6 losses and you’re on the wild card bubble. Bears are at a crossroads for sure. Decent QB play can give the D some rest and get the running game going as well. Currently no team respects the Bear running game so they are all over Trubisky and he is NOT an efficient passer anyways all teams know it see the tape. Trubiskys bad play links to the overall performance of both O and D.

Why would you want Pace looking for a QB. He should be fired. He gave Glennon 16m/yr, he traded a lot of picks to move up 1 spot just so he could skip McCaffrey, Mahomes, Watson, not to mention his head coach choices. Picked White with what, the fourth pick overall??

Sure, he sold the farm to buy Mack.

Actually yeah, they should give Pace a long term contract.....

Simple Trubisky sucks and an NFL team needs a good QB to complete. Bears are probably stuck with Trubisky for this season which will be a regression year. Hopefully a good QB can be acquired demote Trubisky to a cheap #2 nobody would want him anyway. Too disruptive to fire Pace now maybe at the end of the season

Ya'all think Trubisky is inaccurate wait to you see Cam fling the ball if they get him. Which I don't think they will because that will admit Trubiskly was a huge mistake and once they do that his career in Chicago is over and Bears are back at square 1 with no future QB and no high draft pick to acquire one. They're stuck with Mitch and have no choice but to make it work. If he was a fourth round pick they'd prolly pull the trigger but it's too early and too much at stake to admit he is a bust in the 7th game of year 3. Even tho looking that way.

I personally don't think he's as bad as he looked sunday but he definitely will never ever live up to # 2 pick in draft. It really that simple.

Trubisky looked so much better running around either for his life or rolling out. Nagy seems to call plays that are simple drop backs and Mitch appears to be in a dense fog no idea who has the hot route. That’s why I suggested the heart to heart talk between Nagy and Mitch call plays Mitch does well and drop back quick release not his thing so far this year. Let Mitch run if he gets hurt play #2 Daniel gets hurt play #3 Bray. Nothing to lose based on Trubiskys performance so far.

Trub's is still playing on rookie contract, somewhere around 4 years for 29 million with 19 million signing bonus....if he is descent he will sign a 4 year contract over 100 million, so as of now his contract is pretty cheap for a NFL QB. Almost all NFL teams that are good have their main contract tied up with the QB. I don't want anything to do with Newton, not sure he would be your future. Bears are tied to this season with Mitch, its his job to win or lose...looks like he is losing. If he fails there are really no good answers for a quick fix. Pace went all in on drafting Mitch and its obvious he is a bad evaluator for offensive players........but very good for defense.

As for a soon to be be paid NFL QB, look no further than teddy Bridgewater. He will be signing a large contract this off season.

If Teddy can stay healthy he could start somewhere. This off season could be an interesting QB shuffle many good QBs and underachieving QBs including Trubisky could benefit in a change of scenery and difficult for any team to afford 2 QB starters. Then the QB rookies are drafted in as well to save any given team. What bothers me is Watson was the expert #1 pick not Trubisky and Mahomes was the dark horse wild man gunslinger. Me I would always draft the best arm which I thought was Mahomes or Watson since rated so high. Trubisky I just didn’t think his small amount of starts was enough to take a chance and now looks like a bust or needs a coach that can help him.
