NHL - Playoffs

So excited the playoffs are starting soon. I am a Blackhawks fan all the way.
The last 3 games have been incredible to watch. Especially last night against the Sabres. Toews almost pulled off a hat trick in the last 2 minutes of the 3rd period.
The 3rd was an empty netter he missed. But holy crap was that an exciting come back from behind to win! I know so many people that did not bother to watch the game because the playoff spot was clinched the night before and they figured B team would be in. That is not the Coach Q way! So much young talent on the team. Any time they make it to the playoffs there is going to be a chance they go all the way and win the cup.
Hope they can keep the momentum going. Playoff NHL hockey is the best!

All any team needs to do is get the Wings in a shoot out and it a guaranteed win, we seem to never win those. They've played fairly well up until the last month or 2 and disaster. Not sure if we'll get very far again. But die hard Wings fan all the way, hoping for the Cup!

I realize this is slightly off topic, but just want to remind all you N. IL/S WI people that the Blackhawks AAA farm club, The Ice Hogs, play in Rockford. Only $8 for the worst seat in the house which is still close enough to catch a puck if one comes your way, $25 for the best seat and plenty of free parking all around the place. Over half the current team has come through Rockford and there are regularly guys going back and forth during the season. Only four more home games this year, but be sure to remember it for next year.

And... HOUGHTON NATIVE and Michigan Tech Captain Tanner Kero was signed on Friday by the Blackhawks and is now playing for the Rockford team. I sure hope this young man makes it to the show. He is an amazing person!

Ride on the Wilds team bus to the game and party with the team and the teams owner!
And hitting a Cubs game Wed!
There are 6 of us going! Should be a blast
We have custom tee shirts made for our goalie who has been hot as a pistol since joining the Wild!
I'll share pics next week!

Im a hawks fan but thats awesome! If the hawks don't win the west, i hope the wild do.

@scottking-just want to point out the Blackhawks scored more points than the Cubs did over the weeekend. Just saying. :)

It is a great hook up!
I'm pretty lucky and get to go to a LOT of games during the year and mostly in a suite!
Should be a blast!
I'm sure the Hawks score more than the Cubs most games! lol
I hear Wrigley Field is something to see, so I look forward to it!

GO WILD, one more win on the road for record of consecutive wins on the road. Man Bear Pigs owning the opponent's ice.

The last three winners and four of the last five have had a former Fighting Sioux wearing a C or an A and I think that streak will continue this year. My first choice is Minnesota, second choice is St Louis, third is Chicago, fourth would be LA but I don't think they will make the playoffs. Any of these teams would keep the streak going.
