Agreed jmag. Darling's netminding was about the best I have ever witnessed! Who does Q put between them pipes Friday night?

Hawks Preds game was a tight one. Lots of tired folks in the office today. Darling is dialed in. I would go with him to start the next game. But I bet Q will put Crawford in.

Wild win first game. Wild stronger on the road because Yeo doesn't get last line change. He over coaches. How many times does the other team score less than two minutes after the Wild score this season? How many late period goals allowed? Yeo sucks. If the Wild had a pro level coach they have the guys to go all the way. But they don't.

Go Hawks! Preds captain Weber is out with lower body injury. That did not bother me one bit ;)
Glad to see Darling get the start and the team scoring 4 gave him plenty of coushon.

Does Q go with Crow or Darling for the next game? Its a toss up. I would go with Darling. He is hot. On top of his game. Give the Crow a rest.

Loved the comment on the Hawks scoring more then the Schlubs. So much hype over the Cubs this year from all the friends who root for hte wrong Chicago Baseball Team ;)

Way to go Wild on to round 2 we are proud to be wild fans today
Going to be a tough series against the Blackhawks. They've knocked us out last couple of playoffs hope we can do it this time.

Wild are a different team this time around. Going to be a good series.
The hawks preds series was so back and forth close games. Edge of your seat kind of games.
I like the Hawks chances over the Wild. They are pretty dialed in right now.

You just have to love playoff hockey. Even players have commented on the pace and speed. It is the highest level for sure.

I agree with your 1st sentence, I think that's going to be the difference this year, Wild will take it. Hawks are playing good, dialed in as you put it. But I think since the Wild turned the corner after getting Doobie, they are not going to let go this year.

IMO its the cup year for them.

And yea playoff hockey is the real deal. I watch as much playoff hockey as I can, regardless of if the Wild are playing or not.

Especially in sudden death OT in the playoffs, Bishop was hot in goal tonight. He was getting beat up, slow getting up a couple of times, and that shot to the mask looked harsh. Lightning pulled it off in the 2nd OT. I Like OT in playoffs so much missed nearly half of the Wild game. Shame on me.

Heck of a good game, when the Wild came back in the 2nd with the 3 to tie I thought they would win. Good game, Wild should come back and win the series. Last time Hawks put us out of the running, I think they out scored us something like 16 to 6 in the first two games of the series, so we're doing way better. After beating St. Louis we should be able to go all the way.

The Wild will have to pull of a Win in Chicago. Seems that is what it comes down to. Home ice advantage. Game 2 tonight!

Rangers Capitals last night was a good viewing experience.... Lundquist the Rangers goalie was pulling off some miracle saves. (standing on his head)

Seems every one around here has given up on hockey for the year. Red Wings being out and all. Sucks.

2 down! :) One heck of a game. See what the Wild can do at home. I would hate to be down 2-0 to the Blackhawks. Not a good place to be but it can be done.
