Jeff - Congrats on the baby and the house! Munising is my home away from home. I love it up there.

There's not much going on in my neck of the woods. I spent the weekend running to stores, cleaning the house and vegging out. I have to say I love Netflix. I haven't watched this many movies in years. The turn-around time on movies is two days so I have been keeping busy watching movies that I haven't seen (which is a lot of movies!).

Julie - I have to agree that Doug's sled in the first picture looks like Mater! Pretty funny. The headlights look like eyes, the vent in front like a mouth and the skis like goofy legs.

I have one more room to vacuum then I am off to bed. Good night!

Bradzoo: When are you headed North? Biskit says trails are not good.
Still nice by us though. We Never got the really warm air. I think the Highest
it has been since this "Thaw" was 35 for a couple of hours on Saturday.
This has been a very WEIRD Winter.

JULS: Man, I Liked Dougs sled. Sorry to see it Die that way,... Well, they always make more! :eek:)

Big Bro, we are headed up the night of Feb. 11th riding the 12th,13th,and14th coming home the 15th. Trails will be fine they are just setting up good now and freezing, colder weather is on the way and more snow. Are you gonna come over and join us?? Biskit isn't working that weekend and is gonna be around to ride also, we are staying at the hotel all the info is on like page 6 of the family thread but here is the number to the Tahquamenon Hotel 906-876-2388 the most exspensive rooms are 45.00 and go down from there, we are planning on riding all day and Rockin Shirley's at nite like normal.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY SERENA! I hope you have a good one!

I broke down and bought a laptop. I didn't have a home computer and was using my work computer for my personal stuff, most of which I was putting on a USB drive. Now that my job has been downgraded and I really don't have to have my work laptop on hand, I decided it was not good thing to use my work laptop because I had to be real careful of what I loaded on the work computer. I didn't need to spend the money, but it is something I felt I needed to do and 18 months interest free financing helped me with my decision. So far, this thing rocks!

Bradzoo - I need to check those dates. Maybe I will join you guys. I didn't know the Taq Hotel was open again. Hmmmm.....memories. LOL.

Time to go. I have dinner cooking and laundry to fold.

Scoop come on up, its always a good time, even if you can't come up for the whole time, the hotel is under new management and is all refurbished with new make overs on the rooms, I'm trying to get them some business so they will be able to stay open, see if you can work something out with Randy

thank you all, were excited, nervous, ya know, probably the usual for first time parents, all of our family is thrilled. we go the 11th of feb. for the ultrasound. i guess the tentative date is sept. 22nd. Oh boy seems so far away, but so close.
scoop i here ya on munising, thats why we decided to buy there, and it was cheap:)
bzoo it will be a vacation home for the time being, eventually i hope to move there. i probably shouldnt make the mid feb. trip, ive got alot on the plate right now, i wish i could. we have 2 trips planned for the rest of the season, that will probably be all i have time for. lets just say she has some plans around the house before sept. comes!!!!! scoop go up and enjoy a ride with everyone, gotta enjoy it while you can.
well i suppose, more clinicals, then work tomorrow, i should probably head that way.

Jeff - Congrats all around! How cool is that on both fronts!

Excited for the Ride In but still waiting to see if E's back will hold up to make it or not. I'll be going - just have to figure out who we/I'm riding with ;o)
I say I'm still going since I meet with the surgeon to find out the results of the MRI on my left knee. I meet with the doc on Tuesday and we leave Wednesday for Hancock!
If he says I shouldn't go - I guarantee I will laugh and say - oh well! When did I get so old?!?!?!? :eek:( Only 37 and the body has started to fall apart? UGH! LOL

On a fun note - E did get out on his sled on Sunday and cruised around with Carter (Ali and Scott's littlest).
But - Ali and I were not going to be outdone - so we hopped on McKenzie's 440 John Deere TrailFire and went for a spin!

Hey Andie, we're heading up on Thursday. Hope to see you there. Best of luck to Eric with has back and you with your knee. Sound like quite the couple going riding. :)

Hoping for just a few degrees between now and Sunday. Might make all the difference between rain and snow.
