Happy Birthday Cal

Parts for the sled come in Monday and i'll know if the cylinder is usable, they said it didn't look good. So that's only another $475.00!! Plus they said cuz it burned up on the exhaust side that it was due to bad gas!! That's the worse part is it was preventable.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY CAL!!!

Kboo - sounds like what happened to Jim's sled... 4.2 miles into his first ride on it. Cost him 2 grand to fix it... but that cuz it is a 1000 motor and a mountain sled! But it's all fixed... sitting in the back yard waiting for the day it can go out West. Right now it's only set up for high altitude mountain riding... the computer mapping and the clutch. We have a guy who can remap the computer no problem, but the clutch system is another story. The parts to convert it to flatlander settings will cost about 350.00. So we will have to wait on that.

Christmas is in progress here at the Campbell house. We could not find any lights for the tree, so we went out and got one of those little pre-lit ones. We took the big naked tree down and packed it away and put the little pre-lit one up in the corner and are putting the decorations on. Next year when they put the lights and stuff back out on the shelves we will be there buying our new LED lights for our big tree! I'll put the cute little pre-lit tree in the basement by the fireplace.

We also decided to make cookies… the boys and I are gonna make corn flake wreaths, choco chip cookies, sugar cookies, and oatmeal raisin cookies. Santa will have plenty to choose from!! YIPPY!!!

I am officially done with my shopping. We were able to get the boys some things that will make them very happy and we stayed within a very limited budget! The boys and I were able to find some really fun things for Jim too. Jim took the boys out and shopped for me. I guess it was pretty funny! All in all we did good!! YEEHAW!

Better get back up and moving before I get totally distracted!!

Serena, LOVE the pictures! What a great lookin' family you got there!!!

So the truck is in the shop. Has a leaking front differential pinion, an antifreeze leak some where and the engine light came on. So, I take it to Dodge for them to do the warranty work and they give me a 2010 Grand Caravan to drive - HOLY CRAP I so want this van!! It's the same color as the truck - so it would be SO FUN to have Big Red and Mini Red! BAHAHAHAH! The thing handles like a dream, has all the gizmos that I LIKE in my vehicles as STANDARDS!!! There are even a few cool features that come standard that are way cool! Sure wish we had jobs and money in the bank... I guess it's something to think about when we grow up and get real jobs!

We are looking at some snow coming in... sure hope it turns out to be the amounts they are talking about... could make for a very fun Christmas break!

So much to do and so little time to do it! Better get busy!!!

scoop happy bday, we will see you in a few days. the forecast is looking good up there, i cant wait to leave. all is well in SE michigan, one last day of work, thats it til jam. 5th, everything is coming together for riding.
well i need to get some work done here before i hit the road, i hope all is well with you and your families, get your shopping done soon, looks like this storm might be a doozie, see what Mr. Dee has to say about it today

I drank enough for ALL of ya! LOL!

Got back in at 3am Tue. Morning, and with a full plate of Things to do,...
only got 3 hours sleep,
So this boy is BEAT!
Raleigh was awesome,... My friend was so suprised to see me! His wife sure
was happy it all worked out. a Great 5 days!
Even went to a Carolina Hurricane (NHL) Hockey Game!
6th row, Center Ice,.. And they even won! Great time.

I'm trying NOT to keep looking at the forecast.
A Bunch of them have RAIN coming for a LOT of us,...
I hope John can whip up a cold air front,.. and we all get socked with
a TON OF SNOW!
It sure bums me, when we get all ready for sledding "Finally", and have to
"RE-Start" down the road, because Mother Nature plays a Cruel trick on us.

Did some Christmas Shopping today. Thank Goodness I still had some moola
stashed away from the Music,.... or,...Santa was looking pretty sad this year.

Well, time to Fly!
PRAY FOR ALL, (I repeat) ALL Snow!

Merry Christmas everyone! I've got 22 coming over for Christmas dinner on Friday! I'm starting to wonder what I was thinking when I said we should host it! LOL

I only hope that everyone is right - and this snow comes through........

Thanks for the birthday wishes everyone. It's hard to believe another year is down the drain. Man, I'm getting old.

Work has been busy and I have been busy trying to get ready to head down to Chicago tomorrow morning. I should beat the freezing rain, sleet and/or rain (maybe snow) they are predicting by leaving in the morning. Christmas Eve and Christmas could be a messy one. Yuck!

BigVin - I will pray for snow, but unfortunately it seems that this is starting out to be a more typical winter. Get a bunch of snow, then melt, then rain. It really stinks. I'm glad you had a good time in Raleigh.

I need to gather a few more things, so I gotta go. Later...
