Geez Andrea...feel better soon.
Kind of a crazy day here.
First it starts at 11am.
So, my boss calls me on the phone and says to come out back, I think someone was trying to steal things out of the cars of our workers that park in the back. So he explains how he just decided to drive around the building when he got to work. He seen these two thugs by a coworkers car. He drove past slow and only made it about 2 car lengths past their car before he realized something wasn't right. By that time, the thugs jumped in their car and preceded to back out. Well, my boss threw it in reverse in his new escalade and decided to just ram them, so he did. That preceded to rip off part of the bumper on the thugs car and smash in the left rear side of their car. Crazy enough, didn't do much at all to the escalade except pop off the plastic lip on the top of the bumper, just snaps back on. Then the thugs proceed to tear out the parking lot and my boss right behind on the phone to the cops. He is telling the cops all the turns they make and license plate. They end up losing him but with the license plate and fairly damaged blazer they do some searching. They end up at a school and notice a blazer with the damage and run the plate. Yup, it's a match. Cops go inside and get the owner as she is in class and says you need to come with us, you have some explaining to do. Come to find out, she was dumb enough to lend the car to her thug boyfriend and he and a friend went around and went through and ripped off stuff from at least 7 peoples cars along the street we are on. So needless to say, that was an interesting morning.
Then I found out I passed my firefighter I class and I also passed the firefighter I state exams so I am very happy about that. Now onto firefighter II.
And then here are some crazy pics that were sent to me today. I think the pics do the justice but I put the writing that came with the email in there too.
Hope everything is good with everyone!
Later,
Nate
This accident occurred north of Deer Lodge, MT on I-90. The driver was a 22 year old male heading east to college. He had left Central Washington early in the morning. He fell asleep at the wheel and drifted off the shoulder hitting the end section of the guard rail.
The guard rail came through the right headlight, engine compartment, firewall, glove box, passenger seat, rear seat and exited out the driver's side rear window. That's 120 feet of guard rail that threaded through the suburban.
He had no passengers and he wasn't injured.
