Happy Sunshine Saturday Morning!

We continue to get our snow a dusting to an inch at a time, makes everything look pretty! Keeps the 18 inches of frozen snow concrete covered. Hard to ride sleds on an ice base though.

Looking forward to the ride in! HOWEVER, over the next couple of weeks I have lots of work to do for school - My current class is a writing class - have to write a 2500 word research paper to persuade someone to my side of the issue. I've chosen to write about the restriction of motorized vehicles in Yellowstone, with a focus on why the snowmobile is considered the "bad" one to have in the park. It's not main stream media - but it's a good arguement that I believe the snowmobiling community is losing. So it will be a challenging paper to write - writing it well enough for people who don't give a crap about snowmobiling in the first place will find interesting to read. Why OH WHY do I set myself up like this!?

If anyone has any good reference material for me to use, please pass it along - I'm gonna need it!!

Bradzoo, Looks & sounds like you guys had fun. Wearing yourselves out is always good for getting a good night's rest for all. She is a beautiful dog. I love her markings. Thought maybe you guys were up north riding. Didn't I read on here that you had a trip cancelled because of the weather over New Year's weekend? Wonder if a lot of people are making up for that & headed north, not much going on J.D. land today. How do you guys handle the dog situation when you go riding? Do you take them along or have someone watch them? That's been a problem with us not going as much as we would like to. Well, everyone have a good night.

Well we left Sadie with my Mom, but Maggie is alittle bit much for her to handle so we are going to put her in a boarding kennel that is about 2 miles from the house when we go to the Ride In. They used to go with us when we had the cabin in the UP to use. We are looking for another place now because we like eveyone to go when we go. We are going lake riding today, we have enough snow down here to ride on so we can make sure everything is good to go for the UP. Where do you guy's usually ride at when you go to the UP?

what lakes did you ride zoo, happy late bday, been really busy, havent really had time to type a bunch. looked like wamplers was really busy the other day, i was up visiting my parents. Funny you have a short hair named maggie, my parents are on their second one named maggie. They are great dogs.
Boys weekend starts thursday, me and the old man are heading up to the house to ride, it is weird, i left my sleds in the garage up there, it was a tough choice, but there reallly isnt any sense of hauling them back and forth to sit in the trailer. i am excited to get away though.

We were out on Lake Columbia, we were gonna head over to Clarlake but had to rescue a kid on a 440 Cat SnoPro that blew a belt and didn't have a spare

Glad all is going well with the sleds Bradzoo... What is the updated schedule for your rides now? Hulbert still looked poor this weekend.

Well we had about 18 miles od 12" deep pewder to ride on this weekend. Was sweet for sure. The trails were all ice on the corners but still was fun.

Update from my friend Misty:Hi everyone!I am still here. Having trouble with my eyes now from the chemo. I can't see real well. The doctor says it is a common side affect, so I am hopeful it clears up soon. They are now trying to find a match for platelts in California to me. My body is not responding to the transfusions here. They say they are chewing up the platelts and spitting them out. So, I have to wait to hear if I have a match somewhere, they claim it will help me out alot..they will fly them in from CA from now on when I need a transfusion (IF I DO)... otherwise things remain the same. I am hanging in there.
