Howdy folks! :)

Made arrangements to stay at my bud's house in Watersmeet for the Ride-In week. We'll be up Tuesday through Sunday. Maybe Mr. Ellis and I should backpack it up to Houghton for an overnighter again!?

Looking forward to seeing you all.

Hey There Family!

Wow,
All this talk about the ride-in sure makes me want to go sledding NOW!

Obviously,.. I don't get on here much (like I used to),... but I at least try to get in and read
some posts from time to time. My jobs hours are all over the place,... and it seems that if I am
not at work, I am trying to catch up on sleep. (which of course never happens).
Getting old sucks. But I'm doing my best at fighting it. LOL! :)
I just got my schedule thru the end of December and of course work EVERY weekend. I don't remember what a Saturday outside in the garage feels like anymore. Oh well, at least I am blessed
to HAVE a job! Thank GOD for that.
I hope all the Hunters here have had great success and filled all your tags.
This month sure flew by.
Since most of my days off have been and will be Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays,....
I sure hope we get a TON of snow here this season, 'cuz I'd have most the trails by me all to myself!
I have the "want a NEW sled itch". Man, the 2012 models for some reason have really peaked my
intrest. Love the new CAT design and Feel. That 800 polaris rush with classic graphics is awesome also, and the 1200 4 stroke renegade with black tunnel,.... well,... lets say I have a Crush on it!
:)
I know this isn't the place on here to sell things,... but If any of you have a friend or family member who are IN TO guitars,.... I have a custom ordered 2003 Gibson Les Paul Acoustic/Electric I am willing to part with. I just don't play it anymore, and it is too nice to sit in a case in the corner for the rest of my life. It is worth ALL of the $3200.00 I am asking for it. And is INCREASING in value. You can go on Green Bay's Craigslist and view it. Just figured I'd throw it out there on here for the heck of it.
:)
I spent a few days last week, visiting some friends deer camps. It is always a hoot to drop by and talk with all the guys ya don't see very often. I will tell ya one thing though,... I've had me enought Busch Light/Venison sticks/Elk jerkey/Cheese-Sausage-Crackers/and Dorito's snacks to last me through NEXT year! :) Whew!
:)
Just thought I'd drop by and say "Hey!" while I had the chance,.... and wish Each And Everyone of you
a Very Happy and Wonderful Thanksgiving! It's O.K. to "overfill" your plates! That's what they made buttons and zippers on your pants for! Ahhhhhhhhhh!
God bless all the Troops out there World-Wide. May they ALL come home safely!
Here's a toast to everyone's Well Being!
I'll be looking over the prisoners and listening to the Packers/Lions game on the tiny radio we have.
I believe the Jail is even serving Turkey and fixings that day!
I know the Packers probably won't go undefeated all year,.... but to me,... it sure would be a neat thing to see in my lifetime.
Anyways,.....
:)

God Bless To All!
Think*Snow!
Be Safe!

I plan on coming up on Thursday and playing with the Bear crew. I need to know for sure what you guys plan on doing. I know, we'll talk but, I just want to know who is or isn't coming this year so I can make plans.

BTW: John - Do you know where the dinner/reception is going to be this year? I would like to book a room but I need to make sure and ( as do all of us) would like to know what the plan is.

We'll be there but, before we spend money, we want to know the plan.

See ya'll there regardless. Even if we all stay at my place. :)

Well deer hunting has been good but not great! Saw some nice bucks and a monster. So I have been waiting for the monster and he aint been back! OUCH! Give her a couple more tries and it might be a bust for me this year. Congratz to the ones that got it!

Big vin, you need to stop working so hard! And my sled is the switchback pro R 800! Saw it at Hay days and WOW!

Sure hope to see as many at the ride in as possable. Sure cant wait!

Been quite a while since I've been here. I know it's early, but just want to wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving. We have all the kids, granddaughter and others coming home. It will be a great time with the house packed. But, with the nice forecast, it might be nice to chase them and their dogs out of the house for a little while too...just to catch a breather. :)

Happy Thanksgiving everyone (even Lions fans), I have many good things to be thankful for. I miss my parents greatly but have a great wife, great in laws, my siblings and I get along, we are both employed. Thank you to all the troops and their families for their sacrafice's. Lets hope they all return soon and safely. Have a good turkey day and travel safely wherever it is you may be traveling. and Go Pack!

Happy Thanksgiving!!

Thanksgiving is here, so our minds have turned
To what time has taught us, to what we’ve learned:
We often focus all our thought
On shiny things we’ve shopped and bought;
We take our pleasure in material things
... Forgetting the pleasure that friendship brings.
If a lot of our stuff just vanished today,
We’d see the foundation of each happy day
Is special relationships, constant and true,
And that’s when our thoughts go directly to all of you.
We wish you a Thanksgiving you’ll never forget,
Full of love and joy—your best one yet!

From our Family to yours, Happy Thanksgiving

We're staying home cooking a 20pounder on the weber, Mike, my sister and some good friends are coming over. Our Daughter can't make it up so we'll be missing her a bunch. The cabins are full of Hunters and one couple that are coming in from Lake Linden today to enjoy the Holiday at the cabins

Turkey dinner and dessert were great.

Looks like the online shopping got the best of me. Just bought a 60" & 40" LED tv's @ 42% off of each. Out with the older projection and small tube tv and in with the new, can't wait.

I'm just stopping in to say hello. I haven't been on here in a loooonngg time. I'm not really sure why, but I'll blame Facebook. I should be able to check things here more now since I eat lunch at my desk and things have calmed down at work a bit. At home I don't spend a lot of time on the computer since I'm on the computer all day at work, so I have been surfing at work during lunch.

On another note, I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving!
