You will absolutely love the chassis and the motor seems much improved. Mileage is much much better also. Go for it! :)

You won’t be sorry on the 800 Axys. The wife has over 2000 miles on hers and the only issues so far was a wring harness connector that came loose, it never quit just was throwing some error codes and some chafing on the rear coolant hose. Gas mileage is the best in the entire 800 class. I heard the 2016 have a few minor improvements.

I jumped into Polaris last year with a 800 pro-s SB as I think you were selling your Poos...
have to say ditto to mspease' comment plus it is a FUN sled. Definately lived up to the hype. 3800 TF miles so far
...and you won't have to scrape off any trailer stickers.....LOL

yea the chassis on the blown ones is my addiction to these things..so if thats even better and if its possible for them to fix the motor..it could be a winner..i also decided to buy and sell every year, take my loss after year one than risk the even bigger loss of downtime and hassle fixing it..

The GPS is a great feature, may not use all the time but great when you do ride new areas

IDk gps on trails seems unnecessary to me out in the boonies yes seems like a good idea spot probably better. It will be interesting to see if other brands offer GPS on trail sleds I would not pay for it just take a hand held & be done with it.

i think the gps would work great for me as i ride new areas alot, and spend a ton of time mapping where the heck im at..so $800 is a bunch, but its new to sleds so figure im 13k in..whats the diff at that point..

of course whether it breaks or not, thats the poo question of the day

So if 800's have issues. Is the price of 800 a possible bad omen?

If trading every year like you said & Kip gives you good trade numbers might as well load the sled each year. If you lose your butt on yearly trade with add ons like GPS then state of the art hand held is better investment. To me trail markings in WI & UPMI no problem knowing where Iam. Off trail is another matter very handy to have gps in some of the places I go but try to keep the Yamaha in tip top condition & so far no breakdowns in 18K miles. I hope for another year of gas & go.:)

I loved my GPS last year! You can switch back and forth from gauges to the GPS, zoom in or out, with a push of a button.
