As for Polaris Dan, he is defintiely not a person for everyone. I still chat with him for Mass City updates and plenty of Bears chat on Sundays...i've never seena man melt down so much as Cody Parkey's missed field goal for the Bears at Rousseau's!!... which is useful fo rmy needs. He rubs a lot of peolpe wrong and I wouldn't expect him to come back to Johndee...those days have passed, Hes moved on to other sites.

Hello Durphee,
I met you once it happened to be the night the Bears "doinked" their field goal and PD melted down. I live in Green Bay and you guys love Da Bears and Chi Town as much as any Packer fan.
Anyway, PD is well, has a steady women and travels all over. He was down to G.B. for a concert last summer, I will see of he will post.
You gotta know the guy, to love the guy..just like me.

Another oldie I remembered. Mr. Freeze. Not sure he actually chummed with anyone on this site, posted a decent amount about trail conditions but not a ton otherwise because he was so busy riding ridiculous amounts of miles per year! I don’t think I’ve seen him on here in at least 10 years

Hey Fuji, I was standing right next to you, PD and Durphee when the DOUBLE DOINK happened. LOL at PD's reaction. Sounds like if not this winter we all get to meet up next August eh?

I've been here since about the beginning and have learned a lot from many. Geesh, think I was about 20 when this started. I remember reading about John's Pol-cat.

I still find forums much better than bookface for several reasons - the search feature, where I can find questions already answered. Also you figure out pretty quickly who knows things and who doesn't. FB is really bad with bad info. And for the most part, on this site at least, you don't have the negativity.

I always look to see who is on line, just out of curiosity sake, interesting to see the names you never see post. After posting this " past member challenge " and whether its because its finally snowing, I am happy to see members I haven't seen for a while chiming in again and hopefully are here to stay. Whether I've ever had any posts or run in's with any of you I am glad to see people we haven't seen for some time posting again on Dee!

The guy was dog nuts crazy as I remember you were coaching me to to say nothing and finally the membership rebelled against the guy told him to leave me alone. I have no idea what happened to him but some on here who knew him started calling him Adolf and think I know why. Lol.

Way back 20 years ago I recall a Groomer Dave. He groomed the lakefront trail between Harvey and Autrain. I took a photo of him by the Casino

I remember you asking me that gave me a laugh 😂 No idea why he got so fixated on me but happy when he left in a huff swore he would never come back and good to his word. 👍
