I rode with PD a good amount. He loved late night riding and we would get back to his place around 4-5 AM. He loved to stop at the highline norh of Mass and have a beer. No sleds out, quiet and great view of the sky....I actually became a big fan of that type of riding. The trails would be groomed and no one else on them, it really was the best time to hit great trails. We'd have a have a couple of beers and I'd finally hit my bed around 6 AM, Dan still blaring music.Great thread. Quite the walk down memory lane. Some real characters. Always thought it was cool that PD rode all night.
I like night riding but fuel is the issue once you get past 10pm.I rode with PD a good amount. He loved late night riding and we would get back to his place around 4-5 AM. Team Hennessey still here but I’m the only poster and not muchThere was also a Team Hennessy, as I recall.
A lot of people just can't get over themselves sometimes....You break their EGO and you break them it seems. It is kinda sad and ruins a lot of relationships and family.Majority of guys I know that have drifted off were because they got out of the sport, or because they use other forms of social media instead of discussion forums.
Been on here since 2007 and I can count on 1 hand the amount of guys who’ve left over a conversation on here they didn’t like. Not that common of a reasoning in my mind. Kind of sad some dont have thicker skin to move past things like that but to each their own.
And like you mentioned, a number have passed unfortunately. RIP to all those, hope there’s endless amounts of snow up there!
I would absolutely love to see this forum to keep kickin as long as I live, and to see a resurrection of past members. But as you’re all aware, discussion forums are already a thing of the past, and the younger generation isn’t remotely interested in forums whatsoever. Forums were created before most social media platforms were, and were a great way for people with common interests to connect with each other. I myself am 10 years younger than the “young ones” on most forums. Only reason I got into them so young was I needed help at the time to wrench on my own sleds so I could keep riding them, and boy am I glad I did! Have met so many great people over the years because of this site.
I believe I’ve seen him post on snowmobile pages on Facebook, but haven’t seen him post on here in a longtimeOhh what about PWolfy?? He around yet? He used to ride a ton!
LOL man I had my go arounds with that clown. I swear he was an alcoholic or something....Who are all you people and what have you done with Snowbuilder?
