Family and friends, clear blue sky, trees covered in frost, and no break downs!!! Pretty much every weekend Dec. to April. ( ok, so we have a few break downs, but still good times)
Blue skies after a fresh snow, Wife not far behind, making first tracks, 20 degrees, lunch on the trail next to a fire & stream, 100 miles or so, back before dark, pizza, hot tub, and dream of doing it again.
363? What keeps you going the other 2 day's of the year? lol! My perfect day? On the trail by 7 am, ride to breakfest, ride to lunch, home by 5pm with 250-300 miles, hot shower, bloody mary, dinner, then bed and do it all over again. perfection! Why can't my wife understand this? It's so simple.
Pretty much any day you are riding when there is snow on the ground and it's not raining. Even better when it's not the last day of the trip, so you're not thinking about what you need to get done when you get back.
Walking out to the snowmobiles on a crisp morning and hearing the snow crunch under my feet. Any day riding with family and friends. Inviting new snowmobilers on their first trip up north helps me to appreciate our sport even more when I see it though a noob's eyes. Relaxing after the days ride with good food and drinks, and discussing where we will ride the next day.
The perfect day sledding would be after a day of smooth trail and busted down some 2 tracks in fresh pow pow, leaving Presque Isle after a great meal and watching some Football, riding freshly groomed trails on a clear
full moon night back to Twin Lakes.Calm wind and 0 degrees.
