looks like A&E compromised as suspected. Phil never retracted his statement and earlier stated he stands by his statements. However, he regrets the course language he used (probably the vagina and anus comparison) and also how the article in GQ was misinterpreted.
One thing I have learned after all this is how many people believe that Phil or people like Phil are ruled by money. It seems like many are incapable of believing there are serious religions people who stand firm on principle and do not waiver. I understand this but it shows how far a decline we have come as a nation. Phil's kind are a relic or fit in a small minority, now looked at as oddballs or radicals.
Myself, would not choose to use a crude analogy, as true as it may be concerning vagina and anus, for the general public worldwide to see. However, I do hold to the same consistent, traditional views many Americans still hold today. Gay people are still being discriminated or treated poorly because of their lifestyle,,, and that's a shame as they deserve the same respect as any American.
Radicals on both sides of the issue of the gay debate need to relax and try to understand and make changes but never and I mean seriously never should a person be stifled for voicing an opinion.
