I have to say a BIG thank you to Kip, Trisha and the whole crew at Pat's Motorsports. I get asked why I buy my sleds so far away from home and its easy to answer with experiences like what I had once again with Pats. I wish I would have stayed and helped Ryan with the Jameson after the open house but needed to get home. Turkey was great though and it required a couple cups of coffee to keep the eyes open on the way home. Quite the crowd for the open house which was great to see and chat with people. Always fun to talk with Nick Keller! Once again THANK YOU guys!! OK as for the 850. What an absolute beast!! Arms are longer after holding on to that thing!! Midrange pull is huge. The silky smooth power is incredible. Cruising the BN at 50 MPH I cracked the throttle and it pulled the fricken skis up in the air!! I couldn't believe it. The suspension was set to the recommended settings and I have to say, as a big boy, I was impressed. I am going to have to stiffen up the FTS but I actually took 2 clicks off of the skis and the rear springs are set on medium and it was right were it needed to be even a bit stiff actually. Very impressed with the skid suspension with the last 5 of my sleds being "rush" style suspensions. I feel the skid is much more efficient as well. I put just under 200 miles on it and I am very impressed. Only complaint is the handwarmers on low were still to hot. Would be nice to have a few more settings for them. If you are wondering how big that under seat bag is it holds exactly 1 dozen Krupps Pasty's!! Happy to have it home!! Bring on the snow!! Very happy with my purchase!!!

Good for you Slimcake. Looks like your dog had to take a sniff too. Or maybe it was the dozen Pastys under the seat. Think Snow!

OK, I'll say it: "There's nothing like that new sled smell." Just ask your garage buddy.

Love the Indy with that color combination. Nice!

Sweet looking it is!!! Now, I'm counting on the full ride evaluation, after you're done with the preliminary shake down. I'm feeling this 850 is going to be something special!!!

Judging by the shoot out it already is. It waxed the remaining 800's and the doo 850.

HI DWZ

I saw a 3 minute youtube video of the event, nothing official but the guys video said 101 mph in 1000 feet for the 850 Polaris

If that is true we should be happy

Think Snow

I have read nothing but good about the 850. Also Pols other sleds are getting high marks for speeds and weights.

Don't quote me on it... Got it from another site. Pretty impressive results if true. After riding my 850 I don't doubt those results one bit. Tons of power. Huge difference over my well running SLP tuned Pro S 800.

Congrats on your new sled, looks great! I think the 129" may be my next sled. It sure sounds like Poo has a winner with the 850 and this new skid! :)
