I think after last year when you had pretty colors on the maps every day, we all got too spoiled and seeing little to nothing for so long is just a bummer. The next two months will be filled with good colors, I hope!

Hey I use Rec Plus in Twin Lakes, WI for my SRX stuff, but it looks like you are a little far from that location.
Hey thanks guys. I couldnt find anything on totallyyamaha.com but i do have a lead on one trailing arm about 45 minutes south of me. I use to live near Twin Lakes and have friends that pass throught there to ride up north.

That's funny Scott!

But in all seriousness, Mark is a great guy and friend of mine and my posts were never meant to single him out or even defend my forecast. I've been doing this long enough that when I get it wrong, I know I have to take ownership and deal with it.

It was just simply that it is a pretty regular issue when folks send me notes or post somewhere about the 5-10 day forecast and they do not quite fully understand what fully represents (5 full days of snow). I am not even saying this was the case with Mark, just that I wanted to clarify FOR ALL that the 5-10 forecast from last week (posted below and for today-Saturday morning) does not really look too far off for the Northwoods. But only time will tell!

So my apologies to Mark for unwittingly making him a whipping horse, he did not deserve it and is a class act!

I can also admit that I am a glass half full kind of person. Many of you all are too, so these posts I am making are not directed towards anyone in specific at all, just as a general point of information type thing for everyone.

Lost pretty much all our snow the past 3 days. Looks like a green Christmas in the Southern U.P. Had high hopes with the forecast but that's how things go sometimes.

The locals I have talked to say it's stacking up. Johns forecast wasn't that far off. Areas north of M28 2' to 4' on the ground. We are heading up to see just how bad it is Friday . We are planing on staying 5 days. I will report back as soon as I can. The fun flipper makes it hard to type, safety first. God, not another **** week.lmao . Enjoy your key boards.
