Hey guys,

Just want to shed a little light on the whole warranty issue between different manufacturer's as I see it's getting a little heated between brand loyal customers. There are many different items that figure into warranty. How loyal is the customer? How many units has the customer purchased? How many claims have been made on particular unit? The biggest one is dealer reputation. Has the dealer ever been caught in filing a false claim? The dealer can have a lot of impact on whether or not a unit in or out of warranty gets taken care of. We just performed a warranty for Mr. Freeze on his 2010 Vector with 29,000 miles on it. The bulkhead rivets were still intact but starting to come loose. Yamaha paid for this!!!!! Parts and labor!! That is simply unbelievable!
We have a great relationship with Yamaha and that goes a long ways in determining some warranties. Bottom line is guys it doesn't matter what you ride. If you have a good supportive dealer then the product will be good too!! Brand loyalty is what makes snowmobiling great and I respect that very much. No matter what you ride we are all on the same team and accomplishing the same thing. So, weather it's a Cat, Doo, Poo, or Yami you are all welcome here and we'll do whatever we can to keep your ride afloat, even you woodtic:)

Kip that's good to know, thanks for shedding some light from a different point of view. I think it would be hard to replace an engine on a sled if the sled is out of warranty and the customer hasn't purchased very many sleds showing the loyalty.. Warranty claims/complaints has to be a manufacturers nightmare
