Did you just pull the salvageable parts out. And leave the wrecked peices there? Or did you haul out all the broken pieces? And parts. I know some small pieces may be missed, but wondering about pieces larger than say a baseball glove. Just wondering cuz personally I would've waited till I got home to start pulling gauges, and wiring harnesses, lights etc.

yes we took everything with...filled coats and saddle bags...left hood too big against tree to come pick up later after we get truck.....but GUNNER and some miners picked that up before we could get back...caught **** from em till I told em I was going back and I aint a pack mule for christs sake....we needed all that to stitch it back together...which we did....the thing ran without a hood for 3 days and aboot 250 miles off trail...CATS are indestructible...and I can prove it.....LOL....I tell you what though....that end o that log was like 4 randy savages taking you out with a side arm

I have a question for the group: Can you put clear tape over the trail sticker, legally in Michigan?

This years sticker feels like there is no glue or sticky on the backing. It is on the windshield but I am concerned it could easily come off. I don't want to try and see how stuck it as last years stickers came off all in one piece real easy leaving the glue with a void in the glue on the windshield. I see it would be so easy to take a clear tape to the sticker and mount it on another sled.

Just wondering if I put clear tape over it to make sure I don't lose it, could the DNR give me a ticket? It could be at the descretion of the officer and whether he is having a bad day.

Yeah I never trust them either. I put some clear silicone around edges to keep them from peeling off.

W T F is up with WI pass now? really U go to gas station to buy then u fill out the computer screen u pay and u get a hunk of paper then they send u a sticker? seriously can u find more was to piss Administration time and money away ? was there something wrong with printing at the store? the info could still be interred electronically with out the extra 3 steps.
only thing I can think is more reason to pull people over to check registration and check for booze

Ya, WI registered sled gets a paper at gas station or on-line & sticker comes in mail, only takes a few days, but your right, just another reason to be stopped. It was that way last year too.

Out-of-state sled can get sticker "in hand" at gas station just like in past. At least that's the way it was last year.... hope it still is.
