Really? I towed a doo smurfmobile many times off the mtn. for many issues. 800R hold together?!? LOL. not. Now it is tearing the secondary mounts off the tunnel and Doo has a kit for just that, who'd a thunk that? the primary clutch implosions and the belt eating abilities are remarkable. DPM corrosion issues, my list goes on. Etecs pilling up 3 to1 over Poo 800's right now per my dealers info (not mine). I guess I am not in that 60% number you pulled from where?? I did enjoy my 06 600 Renegade but it liked belts and I had to carry a pocket full of those shinny little solenoid thingies it liked so much. At least it was in flat black not Ronald McDonald colors.

My Dealer i was at last weekend said since the start of 800Etecs he has had 1 come back on burndown, all the rest were just updates. Big difference. He has sold hundreds and hundeds of them. This is getting old. Polaris makes a good sled, doo makes a good sled leave it at that. The only issue i have with guys on here is when they bash doo for s*** they dont have a clue about or is self induced wounds and now they are all POS.

The XRS colors is already growing on me....call it what you want. Doo also gives $100 off on wrap kits for spring ordered sleds. 4 year warranty on a 2 stroke. Anyone else doing that.......

I have a gadeX, Ill never go back to a short track. I don't even notice the longer track in the tight trails. The gains out weigh the negatives. My short track was a lot faster top end.

Thats what I wanted to hear. I am ordering a Renegade X then. I like the orange/Black and the black and red. That will be my toughest descsion now. Unless I throw a wrap on it.

YES. One 800E has come back from being smoked, burned down, wouldnt run or whatever you call it. 1 or one or UNO. The rest were customers dropping off there sleds at their convenience to have the piston update completed. No delusion....its not rocket science..dont make it out to be.

Some people you can never make happy, and some have to b***** about something. Others just hate doo and need something to rag them on.

I have an 800etec. Would like to update my sled but to be honest I'm leary. The motor has not delivered consistent power. There is an infamous loss of rpm issue with these motors. Some say clutching while others say temperature and ecu. Has this been resolved?

It is the computer protecting itself from meltdown when its running hot. They have a program update for 14 models. Or they sell an aftermarket resistor to plug in series to fake out the computer and let it run at full monte. All it is, is a safeguard. But sucked when drag racing until we figured it out.

Yeah that is one theory but I've heard others. I have had it happen at 10 below in great snow with the temp gauge reading four bars which is normal so?? If I knew that a new one was going to behave better I would be picking one out.

Thats because most of those kids live at home, and pay nothing yet. So they can afford the 700 dollar a month truck payment.

I wasn't bitching about the colors, i am laughing at the colors. I dont hate ski doo, or any brand for that matter, I've owned them all. I do find it humorous when the brand loyals, all of them, get their panties in a bunch when someone says something negative about THEIR brand. It makes me giggle.

Wasnt like the polaris xc's all red and yellow lol.

momoney - I've read countless threads on dootalk. Messing with the temperature resistor does not always fix the problem...so lot's of different stories out there. Yours is just one of them.

Everybody can relax, the XRS is now being offered in BLACK. Never heard of a company listening to their customers and non customers this quickly. Must be the reason their on top, give the customer what they want
