be prepared

i took the belt off and it didnt hesitate at all, then i put the belt back on and ran it on the stand, and again it didnt hesitate. now it makes it seem like clutching

Be careful running a two stroke without a belt on it. If running lean, you could get 2 STROKE RUN AWAY. (goggle it). Only way to stop it is take the fuel away like a diesel. You'll be amazed how long it takes that engine to suck those bowls dry even when that engine's screaming at 6-9000 rpm with no load in it. If it happens, put full on choke and shut the fuel off and put your ear plugs in.

ill take a look at the weights more closely tomorrow, i glanced at them and they looked decent and if i didnt have the hesitation problem i would have waited to replace weights this summer

when your weights get worn down, not only do you replace your weights, but they get worn down from bad rollers and bushings!

Yep ......you need to clean the carbs & fuel system 1st. Start with the obvious as you are getting way off track with all this other stuff.

don't take long to pop off your clutch.

You can take a small prybar in between the spider and out clutch plate and push it in. Be careful not to put your hand in there unlase you have it blocked. I really think it sounds like a clutch problem just because it is at the same RPM every time

yep, i read in my shop manual how to pry the clutch in, and i pulled my weights and the holes and bushings were all out of round, and im thinking and hoping that might be my real problem. im going to the dealer tomorrow and getting new weights i hope they have them in stock

You should be able to get a whole kit that would include the weights, pins, rollers and bushings (aftermarket) that will be a little less money

They were the right weights. I believe they were 50 grams. Probably taking it to a shop after school.
