The Blaine show was lame. Was in and out in less than an hour. That was even with a riding partner with me. If I'd been on my own would've been less than 30 min.
No AC there. Textron?

Yeah I couldn't make it. And actually don't know anyone that did either.
Thinking it was pretty slow this year.

Went Friday at opening----BIG disappointment. Nothing new really. Yamaha same old except the new "toy". Please if they go after a market make it one that works. This sled is again too small. A 120 with more horses and suspension is all it is. Polaris nothing really new, Ski-Doo all 850's with a display of their add-ons (adjustable windshield--what a joke)

What you got against adjustable windshield some days I'd like a tall one some days I don't need the wind protection

junk built for guys who want to feel butch and pretend what they are doing is actually working on and tuning a sled . the more knobs they can toss on one the more a guy can turn them as he poses in his matching suit at the trail shelter and talk about his tuning ability's

Went to Wausau not expecting to be impressed and I wasn't. Skidoo had the best display and the most people/interest when I was there(5 to 6). At least they (Doo) had some sleds with accessories installed so we could get an idea what they are like. Considering Polaris is making such a big deal about their new Titanic; oh Titan, sorry, they only had one there.

Titanic..
Thats funny but why do you have a problem with a truly unique dual purpose sled?
Is there a comparable rival sled that is lighter?

There's nothing out to get a sneak peak at. Cat's the only one with anything new, and that's already in the dealerships

I went to Blaine Saturday morning right at 9 and very few people there yet. I just wanted to see the different colors as they have like 9 or 10 color choices this year. Plus they have color choices for the tunnel and also for the skid, spindles and ski loops. It's nice to have so many choices, but you don't really know until you see them in person, and not all of the colors were there. I would really like to try out one of those Slingshots for a weekend!

Usually the new look of something grows on me, but I just can't get used to the new Doo.

I plan on going to Fargo tonight, not really looking for anything but just going for something to do. Sweeperguy, AC hasn't been there for a few years

We just had this conversation at the shop this morning. I carry two windshields and if the weather sounds really cold for the next few days I put the tall one on. If I want to look "cool" the short one stays on!!! I'm not opposed to the new one but it sure looks like an after-thought.

I don't have a problem with the weight, it's the lack of choice in the powertrain. Specifically, no four stroke. I groom ski trails professionally and we quit using two strokes over ten years ago and would never go back.

Well then you are left with the bearcat, Viking and Skandic....or whatever it is that Doo offers. 3 pretty good choices. You don't like any of those?
