Groomer Report;

The weather is warming up a lot, we will do our best to keep the trails smooth.

Watch for icy corners, some of them have gotten quite slick.

We are grooming nightly if the conditions allow.

Trail #3 North to Rockland is in GOOD condition.

Trail #8 from Ewen to trail #3 North is in GOOD condition.

Trail #3 South from the railroad grade to the CC road is in GOOD condition.

Trail #8 from the trail #3 South intersection to Trout Creek is in GOOD condition.

Trail #8 from Trout Greek to Sidnaw is in GOOD condition.

Trail #8/15 from Sidnaw to the trail #109 intersection is in GOOD condition.

*********STAY ON YOUR OWN SIDE OF THE TRAIL IN THE CORNERS***********

Please do not climb the “Military Hill” from the highway to the fence, we have ongoing erosion issues there and the hill climbers are adding to the problem.

Watch for the groomers, they take up most of the trail and have the right of way! Pull over for them.

Please remove your helmets before entering a business, several business owners have requested this.

Groomer Report; 3-11-2015

The temps are supposed to be in the 40’s again today so no grooming for the third day. There are wet areas out there from the melting and some places will be very icy.

We will start grooming again when the conditions allow.

Trail #3 North to Rockland is in FAIR to GOOD condition.

Trail #8 from Ewen to trail #3 North is in FAIR to GOOD condition.

Trail #3 South from the railroad grade to the CC road is in FAIR to GOOD condition.

Trail #8 from the trail #3 South intersection to Trout Creek is in FAIR to GOOD condition.

Trail #8 from Trout Greek to Sidnaw is in FAIR to GOOD condition.

Trail #8/15 from Sidnaw to the trail #109 intersection is in FAIR to GOOD condition.



Where it says “Base” , I am saying we have 15″ of snow on average out away from the trail. There is lots of variation in snow depth/thickness on the trails so there is no good way to report that.

Groomer Report;

Most of the railroad grade portions of our trails and anywhere the trail is out in the open is mostly gone, down to bare ground. It may be better in the woods areas but the snow is really going down fast. There is also lots of water in some areas.

If we get a storm in late March we will see what can be done but as of now our groomers are parked and waiting.
