FYI- Snowing hard in northern WI...I am in Rhinelander visiting with the in-laws.

Riding from Minocqua to Copper Harbor and back this weekend. By tomorrow all should be OK.

Should post or PM me the route you take, I'd like to do that at some point starting in Antigo/Pickerel area.

Easiest way is to go through laona and straight up to iron river. Then head west to watersmeet and straight up to copper. Did this trip from lakewood a few years ago was just under 300 obe way.

Any snow coming down in Hayward? Loading up sleds now, heading up this afternoon.

Rode 60 miles in the Hayward/Moose Lake area on Monday and Tuesday. Very little base, bounced off of rocks all day. Ran with the scratchers down the whole time to keep the Assualts cool. Loaded them back up and went home to Bayfield where the real snow is.

The way we usually we go Minocqua - Sayner- Land o lakes - Watersmette- Bruce- Mass City and straight up..

Some years we go to Bergland and up..

This year we are leaving later Saturday so we are going to ride to Ontonogan Saturday, then Sunday up to Copper and stay Sunday night in Houghton, then back to Minocqua Monday morning.

About 5” of new snow in Minocqua, maybe 3” here in Rhinelander.
