I'll be wearing a shirt that has Indy 500 painted on the back. My sister made it for me it took her a week, it don't look bad for being painted, but i wouldn't have worn it if i had the choice, i dont want to make her feel bad lol.

That-a-boy Indy next thing you know you''ll have a Arctic Cat hat on cuz you don't want me to feel bad.

This is still "open to discussion"; however we have a 2nd to my "motion" to meet at 4:30 PM on the 11th at or near booth FC3.
Sorry, I know this is not a formal meeting (Roberts Rules of Order) but I thought I would add some sarcasm.

What even you decide is fine. Name the time and we'll be there.

This will be my first time going to haydays, if you want to take a sled up to sell it do you have to buy a swap spot? gonna try and sell the neighbor kids race sled.

In the past people sold stuff in the parking lots, around homes and any place around
haydays, but this is a new spot so who knows if that can be done.
As for selling in swap area, ya, you have to buy 2 spots,$60.
2 days!!!

Think Haydays!!!

I dunno if i'll still be there at 4:30. I'm getting there at 7 when the gates open

If you stay, I'll get you a burger, fries, gyro, cheese curds, pop, what ever you want to make it worth your while. But just you. Not all your friends too. OK, If Dad's the deciding factor, he can have a burger too.

Besides, I want your autograph! JK!

if you plan on walking the entire grounds, you won't be out of there by 4:30 :)

Plus I heard some thing about races.......I am not sure I have ever sat to watch more then 10-15 minutes of the races!

OMG, went up last night and drop off trailer, this new spot is unbelievable.
It is twice the size of the old area, trees all around the primeter and tress down the middle.
It's was a old farmstead, this was at night, but, it has a whole different feel to the place.
If you come late, it will be a nightmare to get in too this place, so the earlier you can get
there the better.
1 day!!!

Think Haydays!!!

p.s. don't take 95 through North Branch as you will be backed up on 95 and they can't shut that road down.

Just so everyone knows, they are not allowing any selling of items off of the grounds. In fact any of the locals have to have a permit to even sell a sled at the end of there driveway. The county wants to keep everything on the haydays site.

If you come from the south on I35 get off at the Stacy exit to avoid North Branch and hwy 95. If you come I35 from the north get off at Harris and take cty rd 9 to the site. 9 is under construction but you will be able to get to the site. Check out the snobarrons.com for the maps.

It should be a good time, I drove by the site on Wednesday, it looks great!

So is it as bad as I'am hearing?
Sounds like traffic is miserable and people are turning around and leaving. Almost glad I have to work. As I get older I just can't take fighting crowds.

Traffic to the site was really bad. I live in North Branch and I left the house at 6:45 and got there at 10, it is only about 5 miles for me. The new site is great, but they need to get this traffic fixed, I was told that they were turning people away because the traffic was so bad.

Hay days

I don't think they will get a conditional use permit next yr . So did the greedy sno barons kill the golden goose ?

took us 1 1/2 hours to go the last 4 miles from taylors falls this am unbeleivable traffic situation. i know it was much worse for others. heard of a guy that drove from canada after 4 hours in traffic from north branch he turned and went back home.

What a mess, i got up at 530 left the hotel at 6 got there at 7 and sat in the truck till 10, then some girl (not woman, girl) let people park in some fields surrounding her house for $10, we settled in there and walked 2.5 miles. I bet i walked 15 miles today. I bought slides for my dad, windshield for a friend, red mountain grab bar, xtra long team polaris racing thing flappy sno-x flap, sno-jet t-shirt, summer sucks t-shirt (yes at sled solutions, oh and thanks for all your klim stickers ;) i kinda whiped u out :) ) , 800 page polaris service manual, a 23 tooth gear for chaincase, red smith goggles, and i may be forgetting something. WHen i got back i headed over to sears at the mall of america (i got back at 6 pm and we left haydays at 4) i got some spiral flute extractors since i needed one when i accidentally snapped a bolt on my dads tailgate on his truck and used one i had at home but i wanted a full set. So it was still a FUN FUN day even though we had to wait. The food lines were crazy, we ended up eating at 3pm (we ate breakfast at 6 and nothing from 6-3). Not as many stickers as i hoped :( I didn't use the wagon because some guy walking back to his truck who walked up front to figure out what was going on, told us there was waist deep mud so we figured it'd be too muddy to bring it, we were wrong and now i'm mad, it was tough carrying around all that stuff. We didn't get a track for my dads sled because there wasn't very many good deals (the best deal was from a dealer who is 10 miles from my home and we didn't wanna carry it so we'll just go and buy it there). No clutches but i now have a manual to teach me clutching and i'm going to be replacing the clutch spring in my sled (possibly secondary clutch spring too)

WOW that was a long post, i wore a snowgoer shirt instead since it was dirty so maybe someone saw me? i dunno, i know what a FEW (very few) JDers look like from sledding pics and i didn't recognize any.
