I can't say for sure how the trails are as I didn't go south yet, but if we get 15% of the predicted snow this week it will be very good. Best it's been in a few years. I'll do some asking and try to keep you posted.
Eau claire county is open, but from Interstate 94 east has not been groomed or panned this year at all. It looks like they are letting the sledders pound through some areas, and hopefully will groom after the fresh snow tomorrow evening. We are forecasted for 3-6 inches now.
Know friends in Clark county and the trails around Rock Dam were panned and groomed and they rate good plus. They are really honest folks so I believe them. Some ice, but after that massive thaw last weekend that is to be expected. I'm not going to complain. We can finally ride without trailering.
If we get the 3 on Sunday, part of the 4-8 on Monday into Tuesday you could base out of Osseo and run beautiful loops through 7-8 counties for 4 days of riding easy. My fingers and toes are crossed.
How are the trail conditions for riding in these areas as of now 2/9/19? Snow depth?
LaCrosse/Sparta/Tomah look to be the in the deepest snowfall as now? It will be good!
Hope they get it ! It's been a complete bust in my area with this storm.
X2! A BUST!
Hopefully whitehorse, and WorkHarddPlayHard will chime in with updates today with their conditions, and snowfall from this storm!
Thanks 02Bracing!
Bingo John! False hope on my part for going against your graphics, eh? I do know better, but overwhelmed wanting to ride got to me! There will be no quit, or mothballs for some time yet! Patiently waiting for my wife to be out of that immobilizer boot, and get activated!
